I have the same hernia I just keep pushing it back in. Might have to duct tape it soon I found the fastest and easiest way to drop pounds and gain some muscle is to severely limit carbs for 8-10 weeks. 20 grams per day max. No sugar, wheat, starch, etc. Eat lots of butter, olive oil, coconut oil, moderate amounts of protein. Lots of veggies. You eat when your hungry and you eat until full. After your body adapts to burning fat as fuel instead of carbs, you can gradually add back in some things like sweet potatoes, berries, whole oats, almonds, etc. Fat doesn't make you fat. High blood sugar levels do.

Isn't it possible that the deer was legally shot and the hunter could not find it? Archery deer season is open after all. Or did they cut off the horns and leave the rest? Story is not clear. They just say a carcass was found.

What does *** mean in the drawing odds and success rate tables mean?

It means you don't have a chance in *** of drawing a tag -
I was intrigued by the 28 Nosler until I saw the price of brass. They have a box of 25 pieces for $75 at Sportsman's. Yeah.....No thanks.

If it were me I would invest in a reloading setup rather than custom rifle. Factory ammo is going to frustrate you at 600+ yards. Not mention the cost of it and iffy availability.

Not unit 10. That can be a difficult cow hunt.

After this rain is over, walk the washes and you should be able to cut very fresh tracks in the sand. Once you find some, find a high spot nearby and glass on the sunny slopes first thing in the morning. Try to get as much elevation as possible so that you can look down into the washes and thicker areas. Glass the area around where you found the tracks thoroughly, several times.

I would try to be out on the next sunny morning we have. I always seem to see a lot of deer the first good day after a big storm.
