Nice! A cinamomomum too! Was this in NM or AZ? I only ask because I notice that you are from Safford but posted in the NM forum.

Raining like a hurricane in unit 23, but it was actually lightning that made me leave. 1/4 mile from my glassing spot a juniper was EXPLODED by a huge bolt of lighting. It was burning like a torch as I hauled butt back to the truck. Not a good feeling holding an aluminum bow and tripod in a lighting storm.

Are yopu talking $300 for just the bow or for the whole set-up? Arrows, rest, release, and site are going to run you another $150.00, even for the cheap stuff. Which, by the way, the cheap stuff will kill a deer just as dead as the pricey stuff.

Exactly. I have no problem with the act it's self, as long as all of the meat is eaten and the animal was treated humanely. Just don't tell try to tell us you "hunted" for it. Which leads me to the question of, why is he wearing camo?

That thing is about as real as Dolly Parton's hooters.

It's harder to draw a limited entry elk tag in U-tard than it is here.

WOW, that's surprising. How hot could they have been? Anyway, here is the email for customer service for minox. I had to send mine in over the summer to have the eyecups replaced. minoxusa@adelphia.net Maybe they could give you a loaner pair until your are fixed?

I like my wisker bisquit too. Ok, that doesn't sound right, but you know what I mean. Hopefully when Matthews does come out with a new bow, a lot of the current Switchbacks will go on sale.

You can actually drive to the top of Mt Peely and hunt the trails from there.

Camera info and reviews? MP's are overrated. You can get exceptional photos from 3-5mp cameras. The Panasonic and Canon's with the 12x zooms and IS are very popular with the outdoor crowd. -
The lazy jerk just dumped the dog. Call the sheriff, it's against the law and very cruel. If they live in Chandler, that's Sherriff Joe territory. He don't be likin' animal abusers. But, be careful if you have kids, there may have been a problem with the dog biting or being agressive.

I mowed my grass.

". . .The LORD will not turn back until he fully accomplishes the purposes of his heart. In days to come you will understand it clearly" (Jeremiah 23:20 NIV). We have to be patient in understanding God’s plans. He doesn’t give us the whole picture at once. But as time goes by, as each piece is put in place, it begins to form a pattern and, at last, a clear picture. He's not going to lay it all out and show us what will happen in our life for next twenty years. That's probably a good thing! God says, "A step at a time." Do you still need some assurance? Here it is: "The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me" (Psalm 138:8 NIV). If you love and serve him one step at a time, he will work out the bigger plan of your life for his glory and your good. http://www.manhattanavenue.org/God's%2...%20For%20Me.htm

I saw bears down low the first week in August. In fact, I have been seeing fresh sign in this place since March. It's all cactus and cedars. I hope they are still there on 10/06!
-
That's what I am hoping for, a few left over ripe pears. I found a few places in the early season with pears, but they were still green. Funny thing was, I still saw 3 bears in two days down in the pears. One bear was going from plant to plant tasting a fruit from each one then moving on.

Anyone see any bears or fresh bear sign in the pears or junipers while hunting deer? The next bear season opens on 10/6 and wondering if I can still get into some bears down low. Thanks!

Scotty are you doing your own mounts from the Africa hunt?
