curious about safety in camping trailor

Air is about 78% nitrogen gas, N2, which has a molecular weight of 28. Carbon Monoxide gas, CO, also has a molecular weight of 28, so the CO would be distributed uniformly in the air having equal densities. Vapors from gasoline and propane are denser than air, so would settle to the floor. Professor Rabbit, Can you make a radio out of two coconut shells and some seaweed?

curious about safety in camping trailor

I know a guy that used to turn on all four burners of the camp stove and crack the top vent. He did that for years without a problem although he is nutty as fruitcake.

    Elk bugling

Saw a beautiful bull Friday morning in 7W. Was up helping a friend. He already had 12+ cows. He bugled a few times, but was not in full frenzy mode. Heard a few in the mornings, well before light. Nothing in the evenings. It was very warm. Elk were headed for cover way before daylight all 3 mornings. They are hitting the water after dark too. It's pretty slow up there, but the weather is supposed to change. Hopefully it will get them going, he's been waiting on an elk tag for years. BTW, it is VERY dry up there. The dust is terrible.

    NJ fishing, hunting could end

I thought liberals were all for personal choice and freedoms? Now these bozos are trying to tell us what to eat?

    Looking for a spotting scope

Nikon Fieldscope is good glass in that price range. The 60MM model fits nicely in my pack, but the 80mm is too big. Not a fan of the Nikon Sky and Earth, but some people like them.
  10. In a country with a poor economy, any opportunity for money counts... even if it includes being a DRUG MULE. You can be poor and still have your dignity.

    Muzzleloader Antelope

Long story short. It was brutally hot. I followed this buck and four does for 3 miles before getting a shot. It was a LONG hot walk back to the road. He was a dumb buck.

    Archery Elk

Do you have a digital video camera? If so, you will most likely need a firewire card and cable to download the video. Once you have this, you should be able to just hook the cam to the computer. You probably have a CD or DVD that came with the camera that has the drivers you need to install so that your computer can recognize the camera. I will be in 7W this weekend with a friend from CA that drew the tag. Maybe we will see you. We'll be in a silver extended cab F150 with Cali plates. Good luck.

BOOTS.... 3 miles of the most important pieces of equipment you can own.... DB, Nice going, from your earlier posts, I could tell you were getting closer and closer - Way to seal the deal. Dumb buck - I call it smart hunter AzP&Y There's a story to tell, but I don't have the time right now. Let's just say Decoy + Dufus Buck = bloody knife.

  20. I didnt mean "hobby hunters" to degrade anyone. I just know people that go buy a bow and shoot it twice and then get an archery tag and head or the woods. Last weekend we saw a guy on a quad with his son on the back. His son who is a teenager had his bow WITH an arrow nocked driving a road. It was in one of the units that would be a draw. Come on thats a joke. I think people get what i meant when I said that. In these units people that draw them will not have to deal with a bunch of the bs that goes on. I understand.
  21. No, you should be good for Jan/08. The earliest anything could change would for the early fall 08 season(s).
  22. Why stop there? Why not stop hunting with scoped rifles, Compound bows and limit binocs to 10x magnification. Make it illegal to shoot over 200 yards. How about no shooting after 12:00pm to give the animals a chance to water and feed in the evening without pressure? How about no camping in the forest. Get a motel or stay at the KOA? Why are we hunting antelope and sheep at all? Their numbers are falling fast. You are right, we are our own worst enemy, but not because of the hunting methods we choose, but because we are constantly putting each other down for the methods we choose. Again, if you have a moral problem with these issues and choose not to use any or all of them, I applaud and respect you and your choices. Please do the same for others.
  23. There is nothing wrong with "hobby" hunters. You shouldn't have to breath and crap hunting 24/7 in order to be able to enjoy it. In fact, I think they get more fun out of it a lot of times than the so-called "serious" hunters who put so much pressure on themselves to kill a monster that they often don't enjoy the hunt at all. Most people start out as "hobby" hunters and progress into more advanced, skilled hunters. You don't come out of the womb slaying 200" muleys on public land. People always want to weed out hunters until there is something at the ballot box that needs our attention. Then they plead and beg for all the hunters to join us in this great cause so save our great sport. You can't have it both ways. There is also nothing wrong with killing a spike. It's your tag, do with it as you wish. I think the draw for archery has good and bad points, but mostly bad.
