I think meat loss is determined more by bullet design than bullet diameter. I think a .243 shooting a ballistic tip will tear up as much or more meat than a .338 shooting a Nosler Partition.

You're not her type. You're male. -
One time I shot a deer that was soooo far away...I pulled the trigger, packed up all my stuff, hiked back to the truck, drove for 10 minutes, stopped to take a leak, drove another 10 minutes, hikes two ridges over from the road, set up my 15's and tripod, and found the deer just in time to see the bullet smack him in the ribs.

DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THOSE MOUTH BREATHERS. It should be legal for me to pull out my Springfield Mil-Spec from glove box and blast them into the next lane.

California bans lead bullets

Funny thing is (or not so funny) is that 99.99% of these same people believe in evolution / survival of the fittest as the way nature intended it. So, adapt or die, isn't that the way of the wild? BTW, what would they do if a Grizz on the Blue ate a Mexican Wolf/dog? -
Mt Ord and / or Mt Peevey, both off the Beeline.

You guys know that there is a company in Texas that can take two Swarovski spotters and mount them as a pair of binocs right?

Someone told me Swarovski is coming out with some 20X's. Not sure if it's true or not.

He's also been claiming that you were the subject of Tyson's "weird sighting".

I'll bet one of those decoys the G&F use would work real well in the early bear season on Cherry Creek and Juan Miller Roads!

I actually think the Blazers are cheaper in the long run because they last so long.

Don't know about that area, but they were going crazy around flagstaff on Sunday. I heard multiple bugles between 11:00 and noon and it was non-stop in the morning and evening. I imagine it's pretty much the same everywhere right now.

3 years ago I was on the unit 6A ML'er cow hunt. We stopped in for gas at Clint's Well and I saw the following: Two grown adults with a flat bed trailer and 2 whole cow elk. When I say whole, I mean guts and all. Heads, skin, feet, etc. on their way to PHX.

Do you guys like the carbon tri-pods? I have tried two of them, both bogen's, and didn't care for either one. They are light, but I could not keep them steady in even light winds.

I saw a 26-28" 3x3 muley standing by the stop sign at the corner of Ellsworth and Brown about 3 years ago.
