Who says that Juan McCain won't nominate a middle to left leaning SC Justice? Reagan nominee O'Conner was not a conservative in many of her cases and neither has been Stevens, who was appointed by Ford. Congress controls the Supreme court. Just look at the fights W had to get appointees approved. You know what happens if we elect McCain? In 4 years, we get a McCain clone to run as the GOP candidate. The brainiacs at the RNC will just say, Look, this lefty won the last election, let's find another one and try it again. I think, in the end, McCain has a shot to win, but in the long run, that is not going to help the USA return to it's conservative, small Gov't, Give me Liberty or Give me Death roots.

Yeah, let's all vote for the Candidate that represents nothing and hope that next time there is someone better. You know what, there won't be someone better next time if you continue to vote for the same ol' crap. Obama is the biggest POS that has ever received a nomination, I'm not arguing that. I'm saying we can never expect better candidates, if we continue to vote for the crap they give every four years.

An election is not about picking the winner, it's about who your choice is for the office. My choice is neither of these two. The reason W's opinion ratings are so is not because he ticked off the libs, it's because he abandoned his conservative base, with his stance on immigration, the deficit, big Gov't, etc. Look at the Dem controlled Congress, their numbers are even LOWER than W's. That tells us that people don't want big taxes, big Gov't, open borders, gay marriage, global warming taxes, etc If the GOP gets hammered in this election, it's their own fault for trying to play the middle. Get back to the right, where the votes are and quit pandering to the left. Truth is, If McCain has to fight for AZ, he has no chance anyway.

No, it's a write in vote for Ron Paul. If McCain picks a pro-choice VP, there is no way on this earth his name is on my ballot.

Desertbull, I have to (respectfully) disagree with the idea behind a write in name. I see here that you are pretty anti Obama and a vote for anyone other than McCain is effectively a vote for Obama. I see and even agree with what you're thinking, but realisticly it's a wasted vote. That's one reason the primarys are so important. I know voting for the lesser of two evils sucks (I'm not happy about it either) but if you actually want your vote to count then vote for one of the two names on the ballot. I think my vote will count in sending a message to the GOP to get back to your conservative roots and quit pandering to the bent wristed liberals. McCain is a liberal, no two ways about it. He has had to spend his whole campaign trying to convince Conservatives that he is not. Too late, McLame!

Of coarse I'm voting, but I ain't voting for either one of these two clowns. I'll write in a name. Voting for the least of the stupid people for the last 20 years is what has us in the mess we are in now. It isn't a contest to see if you can pick the winner. Vote for the person you think can be a great leader, not for the one you think might not be as bad as the other guy.

I think McCain is a closet liberal, but he is the lesser of two evils, I suppose. Jindal would be my choice, to offset McCain's age. The other choice would have to be either Crist or Ridge. He can't win without winning either FL or Penn.

Obama was raised and mentored by died in the wool, hard core socialist and communist supporters who believe in high taxes and biiiiig Gov't with lots of regulations, programs, welfare, universal healthcare, public housing, etc, etc, etc. Since being in Congress, he has authored a bill that would allow the Gov't to send .7% of the National GDP to the UN to be distributed to other countries to help reduce poverty. A tax on Americans for GLOBAL distribution. Totally illegal and 100% socialist. No only that, we are in debt beyond belief thanks to years of overspending, yet he thinks it's a good idea to levy another tax, one which will only benefit non-Americans. This is his idea of CHANGE. He fully supports the UN's call for all nations to ban the possession of small arms. This is the scariest candidate this nation has ever had and it looks like he has fooled the masses into believing he is a "messiah". In fact, that is the very word that Chris Matthews used to describe him. SCARY!!!!!

Agreed, in part. But is it better to hunt in an area with more roads or fewer roads? Once they get the roads closed and the wolves in, their next step will be stop access into the area to give the wolves their "alone time". That's going to be their reasoning of why the White Mountain wolves didn't propagate successfully, too much human activity.
