I had a friend that waited a long time for his tag and drew a GREAT one. Then proceeded to scout his butt off the whole summer. 10 minutes into opening day he shot an average buck because he was scared all the big ones he had seen would be killed.

Knight went out of business, but their .50 cal extreme and elite series were awesome ML'ers. I would not hesitate to buy either one. Parts should be fairly easy to come by, as they sold a ton of these rifles. TC Encore Pro would be my 2nd choice.

You do not have to go to the office. Just call and the person you are talking to can view a copy of your app and tell you the problem. My son's app was rejected even though the SS# he put down was correct. The person entering the data mis-read a 4 instead of a 9. They gave him a tag.
