The lighter the tripod, the less effective it will be in the wind. When there is wind the best thing you can do is sit, do not extend the center post, use top (thick sections) of your tripod legs and try not to extend the lower skinny sections. Take off all the lens cap etc that tend to catch the wind and vibrate.

Whats wrong with Tuesday? Then you get 3-4 days of entertainment watching grown men cry.

It seems people are having more luck getting the 200 grain ELDX to shoot good groups than the 212 grain. I have been trying to a load for the 212 in my 300 WM and its frustrating.

You might need an 1:8.5 or 1:8 twist barrel for the 195s. The 180's and below should be good with a 1:9
