ive seen the cactuflage before, doesnt really appeal to me, personally i think you are better off with the predator or ASAT, i think it breaks up your outline better, like the the post earlier about the how deer see i dont think it will be as great, jmo

definatley noslers are good, but i would go with the bergers, they are supposed to be really great an are excellent at long ranges, thats what the best of the west uses. what ive seen and heard are only good things -

lions, who has ever glassed up one? i am only 14, almost 15, but i glassed one up on m friends pig hunt, as you probably read in my other topic. was wondering how many of you have ever done it, i know houston has, WHTMTNMAN, hes glassed up two. but what about anyone else?

dont put in for something because of draw odds. if you put in for something low draw odds, that you want, and then put in for a hunt cause its high odds, and you get drawn, you will never get the low odds hunts. put in for what you want. not something easy to draw. cause usually nobody wants them because thy are not that good if they have really high draw odds. so put in for something if you get drawn, its a place you really want to hunt. cause if you want to hunt other places more you wont be able to if you are getting drawn elsewhere. just my 2 cents

i think its one of those spotted skunks

oops i meant 2 not @ opening morning birds. well me and my buddy had our junior tags so me and my uncle went up thursday morning and found some birds, and put them to bed. since it was my friends first turk hunt i let him go to the bigger bird and that was closer to camp. me and my uncle took off while my dad and my friend went together. we were on a ridge and heard gobblers way across the canyon and over a few ridges so i made the call to head over there. we set up on a gullie and the birds were on the next ridge even tho they sounded like they were on the one closest to us. so while my uncle was calling i went to get closer and try to call one of the gobblers in. well out of no where a jake gobbled 100 yards away. i stopped in mid-stride and when he went into strut i put my foot down. he caught it like that and was out of there. i went to my uncle and we decided to keep calling if one came in the others might also. about 20 minutes later i caught a head moving and when it went behind a tree i raised the gun. he came out and i was looking for a beard, at about 20 yards i could see it well enough i was comfortable shooting and that i wasnt hallucinateing things, so i put the bead on his neck and let it go. he flipped backwards and we yelled and ran up and i grabbed him by his neck and we had him. he only had about a 6 in. beard, my smallest of my three birds, and tiny spurs. my friend got a bird with about a 9 inch beard so it was a great first bird for him and it had probably 1/2 inch spurs. i was so excited for him. and 2 hours into the hunt we were both done for the season. i had to pack mine over the shoulder for about a mile so not to bad and my dad packed my friends about 500 yards. it was great. i will post pics when i get them loaded onto my laptop. we got some great photos of all of us.
