go with vortex! they have the absolute best customer service, i had problems with my crossfire, sent it in and recieved a brand new one for free. my new scope self adjusts only once every ten shots so i contacted vortex, and they are giving me the option to upgrade to the viper for a really cheap amount. cant beat their service. and my scopes elevation turret self adjusting is my only complaint. still returns to zero everysingle time, and is cristal clear out to 1000yds. (farthest ive really looked through it)

i would stay away from easton personally, i loved my easton st. epics but when i shot my javelina i got hairline cracks at the where my instert entered the arrow, this happens worse with the axis i have seen, personally gold tips would not group with any broadhead for my set up, i am about to try thecarbon express blue streaks, they have the new dual spine, and i love the weight forward technology for downrange, the mayhems would be great also, i like 2 inch blazers, good broadhead flight and buck the wind better in my experience.

im working up a load for my 257 and have a 1lb bottle of RE-15 thats totally full and a mostly full bottle of h100 V, would someone working up a load want to trade for IMR 4350 or H4350?
-
when im done making up my reloads its difficult to drop the bolt down to shoot, not to chamber the shell, but pull the bolt down, any idea what causes this? factory ammo works fine, i am FL sizing, and the then reload. everything is normal and shoots good, just tough to drop the bolt
-
try putting some rem oil or other type of lube where it turns, where the bolt wraps around the bolt action? (cylinder part that houses the firing pin and the has the bullet extractor on it) is what im trying to say.
-
everything is up to par, oal is good, everything is off the lands at 2/1000 everything is perfect. i loaded and sized everything at the same time, and i chambered every round and only 2 of the 50 are tight. maybe something didnt go right with the shoulder for those 2, primer depth is good etc.
-
no most of them this is there first time reloading

the 223 will do the job for sure, i was using that with some federals, i think they were vital shocks, not sure but they were a sotfpoint, 55 grain, and killed my mounatin lion at 397 no problem, the first shot did the job but i put a followup in it to drop it where it was biting at the hold in its shoulder.

my cousin has 3 shorthair pups he is trying to sell. 2 males and 1 female. one male is his best pup, he sold it but the family decided it was too much work, so they gave him back. the other male is awesome too but he had a herniated umbilical cord so all that means is he has to be neutered, nothing wrong with him other then that. these are great dogs coming from parents that get hunted everday on a bird preserve down by safford. still waiting to find out a price but i believe they will be around 4-600.
-
ill get photos to everyone asap, still waiting for them myself. noth parents are AKC, he doesnt trial i dont believe but the sire i think might have done a little before he bought him. dont quote me on that tho. but they are dogs that get hunted most everyday, and always trained everyday. lots of bird exposure for the pups already, my cousin has access to quail through the farm.
