I'm thinking about selling my minox 15x58's and switching to either the meopta (cabelas euro) 12x50's or the vortex razor 12x50's. I know this has probably been brought up already but I would like to hear some thoughts on guys who have made the switch to the 12's from 15's. One of my main reasons for switching is to lower my pack weight. normally what I do is carry my 15's in my pack and my 10x42's on my chest until I get to my glassing spot and then pull out the tripod and 15's. I would like to have just the 12's on my chest and then put them on the tripod. I am planning on going deep into wilderness for my elk hunt this year so the less weight the better. so my question is, do you think i'll regret it? Also I would like to know if there is a big difference in quality from the newer meopta hd 12x50's and the model that is non-hd. Reason I ask is because on binostore.com I can buy a pair of the meostar non-hd 12x50's for like $800.00. I'd love to hear your thoughts and reviews on these particular binoculars.

is it too late to get a ticket or two?

Listen to this podcast: http://www.coueswhitetail.com/forums/topic/57909-finding-and-hunting-giant-coues-bucks-with-devin-beck/?do=findComment&comment=561059 As far as which unit to go with, any of the southern units will be good. Any of the 36's, 34's 35's, 33, 32. Each unit offers 4 different rifle seasons so put in for the one that is convenient for you. You should know that the late December hunts are going to be the more difficult to draw hunts but almost all the others should be almost guaranteed tags. Once you get a tag learn the unit using many resources such as this website, Google earth, azgfd website, and even the wildlife manager for the unit. Find some country that looks "deery" and pick it apart with your newly purchased 15's. I don't think you will have any trouble finding them. Also keep in mind that while hunting the southern units you may have encounters with illegal aliens.

I've got a buddy selling a huskemaw blue diamond 5-20x50. I know that's not exactly what your after but it's a heck of a nice scope.

I'm selling this for my brother in law. He's selling this because he just bought an elite energy 35. It will be needing new strings soon. Good inexpensive bow. It comes with everything you see on the bow (whisker biscuit, sights and stabilizer) it's right handed and set up at 70 lbs and 28 inch. Asking $175. I'm going to post pics as soon as I can.

I'm under 40 and not even close to premier membership. What a loser

I drew my second choice which was unit 21 rifle bull. I am a resident and never had any intentions of hiring a guide if I was to draw. Not for any reason other than I just want to be able to say I did it myself. I'm definitely a do it yourself kinda guy for sure. I really wish I woulve drawn this as my first choice but I'm still looking forward to the tag I did get.

Unit 21 late rifle bull. Tag #22 out of 30.

nevermind. It's back to no results again.

602-942-3000 number says "I'm sorry. We are currently expecting system problems". I'm hoping that means they are getting it ready.

one of the things that excites me about possibly having this unit 1 tag is being in that part of the state during September for 2 weeks straight. I have fallen in love with the white mountains of arizona and the thought of chasing bugles for 2 weeks there has me excited like I can't explain. There was a thread on here from a few years ago by member "Coach" about his hunt in unit 1. I always pictured my first archery tag to go the way his did. ill try and find the link to his story so that the guy who started this post could also read and enjoy it the way I did. There is the likely possibility that I drew my second choice and don't even have this tag but until draw results come out I'm hanging on to the hope that I drew my first choice. Here is the link to the hunt from member "coach". This was the best story I've read on this forum. http://www.coueswhitetail.com/forums/topic/27391-unit-1-archery-bull/

unit 1 early archery bull 1st, unit 21 late rifle bull 2nd. got a hit on my card. I'm gonna freak out if I drew unit 1 archery bull with only 5 points.
