I would like to thank Frank Argo for putting your trust in Colburn and Scott Outfitters with your Arizona Big Game Super Raffle Desert Bighorn Sheep tag for the 2015/16 season. We had a great hunt and partnered with Craig Steele of Exclusive Pursuit Outfitters for the hunt. Our team consisted of hunter Frank Argo and his friend Tim Aldinger, Seth Meeske, Hunter Haynes, Jole Guthery, Craig Steele and we were hosted by our good friends Fred and Mary Ashurst. The photos below are from all of the group mentioned. Frank was able to harvest a wide flaring ram of 31 inches. The bases were 15 3/8 with a long horn of 36 4/8. Frank's ram gross scored 173 4/8 and should net 172 7/8 making it the second largest AZ Raffle ram ever harvested. We had a great time enjoying the desert sheep of Arizona and are grateful for the good fellowship throughout the hunt. Congrats Frank on a beautiful ram! View the full article

Guys I appreciate the positive feedback about my podcast! As far as the Marlon Holden issue, I knew nothing of this until right now on this forum. After doing some quick checking with some sources, it appears there was a case from 2012 that ended in Mr. Holden being acquitted of all charges without prejudice and no conviction. No fines were given I believe the game and fish wanted an $8000 charge but it did not happen. I don't know what happened or even what it was about. I will continue to attempt to bring good episodes on each episode moving forward. Again thanks for the support!

I made a trip up to the Green River in Utah this last week with my friends the McGaughey's. Hunter, Westen and their dad Steve. We stayed at Flaming Gorge Resort and fished for three days. Many fish were caught and laughs were shared. We had some big fish on that got away but that is what keeps us coming back and wanting more! I just uploaded a really good podcast episode with guest Michael Park who has harvested 48 elk with a bow and arrow. He is 47 years old and is trying to accomplish a goal of 50 elk by age 50. Michael is a blue collar guy who loves to hunt and has made great sacrifices to make it happen. We also talk about his biggest elk he harvested with me in Arizona that gross scored a little over 435 inches. If you like archery elk hunting then you will love this episode. The summer has arrived in the Roaring Fork Valley with temperatures reaching 90 degrees. The rivers are very high, off color and muddy. I went fishing the other day with my friend Danny Bright and caught some nice fish. The Roaring Fork and Eagle rivers are at 17 year high flows so we haven't been float fishing yet. With the flows high and the water off color in the Roaring Fork Valley, we made the decision to head north to the Green River below Flaming Gorge Reservoir. I was joined by my friends L Dean Tucker and Danny Bright. We stayed at the Flaming Gorge Resort which is always a delight and enjoyable.
