I would go vx5 or zeiss v4 in that price range. The key to the long range shot Is not necessarily the optic or the magical 6.5 its practice and seeing what your rifle/scope/load is doing at distance. Practice practice practice. The vx3i is a good scope for the money but the vx5hd will do it all with better glass. Good luck!

What Lance said. Nothing wrong with a harris! Atlas are way nice though. I run both. I prefer the atlas for hunting and the harris for shooting steel.

Delw thanks for the info. My last few dealings with PTG havent been pleasant. otherwise I would buy a reamer from them. Looks like renting will be my quickest option. Looking at 4Drentals and reamer rentals.com are a couple places to rent from. Anyone have any experience with them?

Have a pelican 1750 has some usual wear marks only been on 2 or 3 outings. In very good shape. Cut one piece of foam to fit a rifle ran it without that piece for 2 rifles still holds them tight. $150 located in white mountains but can send down to the valley with my brother this weekend to meet. It's a 1:9.25 I bought it with intentions of ackleying and running 105 a max twist was a little slow for that so i Bought a different rifle for that and Turned it into a coyote pdog gun instead.
