Proof Carbon Light Sendero
SHOOTER replied to 450Dakota's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Should fit just fine. If any I would bet you would just have to open around the shank depending on much shank the smith leaves on the new barrel. Could fit a full proof sendero in that stock if you want to open the barrel channel a bit. -
Patriot Gunworks in Lewis Colorado built the rifle. I could maybe throw in a 50ct of them to sweeten the deal. (I also can get another 200 or so if you are interested in buying those as well. )

Round count it right around 600rounds. Should have another good 600 + rounds of life left.

It’s a touch under 10lbs on the bathroom scale

You want 180gr targets, hybrids or hunters?

Common denominator seems to be the rangefinder and its output. If you have shot a lot you should have a pretty good idea/record of what drop you are using at usually using at 400 yards. Was the drop the BR2 close to this number? Go shoot at 400 with out using drop data from BR2 and just see how many MOA it takes to hit dead center. Then compare that data with the what your rangefinder says . If the BR2 is correct you can rule that out. What kind of scopes are you using? Were you shooting at a funny angle? I have seen people that shoot at a funny angle or hold their head at a funny angle behind the scope that are almost looking down into the scope instead of straight through have an “optical illusion” almost and hit 4ft high and or 4ft to the side at 400 yards to the side because of this weird “parallax” issue at The issue seemed more noticeable and more of a problem on lower end glass scopes. Once we got them squared up good behind the gun the problem went away. Hope you figure it out soon. Stuff like that bugs the crap out of me.

Chamber polishing method to remove a bur?
SHOOTER replied to Viper's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Are you sure it’s from something in the chamber and not happening while chambering a round like the mag box or feed ramp or something doing it? I would get a bore scope in there before you do any polishing. Also if you do choose or need to polish I would use some 320 grit Emery cloth. Don’t want it to smooth in there. -
Here’s a big thanks to Big Browns he did the artificial velvet on a bull for me. He did a great job was very easy to communicate with, had quick turn around and is very affordable. If y’all need some velvet work done get ahold of him. I give him 5 stars.

I agree 100% I have tried weight sorting brass and can’t confirm or deny if it actually works for me. Best tool I bought to help long range consistency is a labradar. Ive shot some crazy low SD/ES with some “cheap brass”. And I actually had more problems with the harder brass like ADG and Petersen. They are definitely more ready to load and more consistent in a lot of ways but sometimes they seem to be too hard. Ive got 12+reloads out of RP brass running it hard before the pockets swelled. Find a load that shoots accurately and has low ES and just start shooting. Bullets down range, form, practice in the different environmental conditions is something alot of people skip out on and it shows. Ive seen many guys show up to the range with the top end everything and they get worked over in competition by guys that have rifles and gear that cost 1/2 as much. The guys with not as fancy gear obviously spent way more time petting their “fancy toys” and less time sending bullets down range. if you really want to be good at long range shooting , shoot in the wind ....a lot. I like to shoot at 1 moa to 1.5 Moa targets. Your not doing yourself any good shooting at barn doors. Lol
