I can see your point to an extent but, I also think these guys are selling out to pad their own bank accounts and ruining what a lot of people have enjoyed for years by doing their own research. Units that used to have leftover tags every year are now taking 1-2 non resident points to draw. If you look at the amount of non resident apps there was a HUGE spike about the time these guys started promoting! Not only that but the biggest unit was the exact unit Randy Newberg was hunting! I personally could never except money to blow my area up and cause it to become a tough to draw hunt when I used to be able to hunt it every year. AZGFD is wrong to use our money to to destroy our hunts! This has been going on for at least 3-4 years now and for it to just be surfacing makes me think they All were trying to hide it because of the backlash they would receive!

I believe Randy Newburg mentioned getting paid by AZGFD in one of his YouTube videos also.

I just listened to a new jay scott podcast and the same question came up about AZGFD paying utubers to promote OTC tags in AZ and jay said he had personally talked to several of them and asked them straight out if they were paid by AZGFD and the answer was yes.

Looks like several charges for guys on here over the past couple days. That’s good! Congrats.

I’ve seen $80k-$85k

So I was also charged correctly for my youth but I only put in for youth tags so it makes sense.

So what I’m seeing is youth that applied for a general tag first choice were charged the general tag prices no mater what, even if they drew a 2nd choice youth tag. And I did see that exactly happen with the elk draw to a buddies son. He was pumped up and thought his son drew his 1st choice with 0 points which was a unit 10 early rifle bull tag. He was later refunded the reminder of his youth cow tag cost which he actually drew.

This happened to a friend last year. When he couldn’t find his results he called and they had no record of him at all!! No app, no account, nothing! He had his receipts and even his receipt from elk draw so they created him a new account and gave him his bonus points. Bad part is he applied for a coues tag that was 100% and nothing they could do but give him a point.

So are we gonna be a week out for deer results too?

Nope! I applied them for only a youth tag. I do see what you’re saying though.

Two of my kids drew youth tags and it was a $25 charge for each.

Looks like Tucson and south to the border got more today as well!

I have heard of 3 guys so far not drawing 36a (non resident) 1st choice November!!! That’s scary! Curious to know how much apps are up!

I’m assuming the people that know unit they drew only applied for their first choice. That’s what I did for my kids, only one choice so I know what unit they drew….that’s unless I screwed up the hunt code lol.

I would think if there is anymore card hits it would be tomorrow since they have the day off today. But I’m not sure exactly.

Looks like the southern part of the state has been getting some great rain.

I just called the department and had them add mine. Took a couple minutes.

Hopefully all that rain got my through AZ comes through SW Colorado! Got some a week ago but it’s been dry lately.
