So with the waiting game on the draw continuing I thought I share some pics from last years late hunt I had. As always was a great memorable hunt and I learned a lot. I shot my buck on the 7 day of the hunt and I am very happy with it! Not a monster but has great character! All in all probably saw over 40 bucks threw out the hunt and can say the one I shot was the biggest . Shot was 530ish yards second shot. Buck fever got me on the first shot and shot over his back. Second right threw front shoulder he didn't go 20yrds piled up. I rushed the first shot as he was about to go over the saddle but ended up making him spin and run 50yrds back and stand there broadside.The wall tent made those cold nights enjoyable! It was my buddy mike and I on the hunt it was great to have a great buddy to enjoy this hunt with! We took my deer home the day after I harvested and I hunted another 5 or so days more with him.

You will soon find out the majority of reloading is case prep. Therefore anything to speed up that process will save time and your wrist . Lol I went a while with that the hand tools primer pockets in and out the hole 9. I had a bit of pop-eye going on haha.my current set up not the best or cleanest at the moment but effective .

A electronic prep tool is a must if u plan on doing a lot of rounds. I have the Lyman and it works great for my needs! Also the electronic powder dump is well worth the money! But that can come down the road once u get the hang of things. I like the lock and load press by hornady . At first I was skeptical on locking nut being consistent with the 1/4 turn on and off. To my surprise it works great and all my dies have them now. So now switching from sizing to bullet seed is just a 1/4 turn each time.

Just buy Both! No regrets!

Buy once cry once. I have had some of the cheapie ones and on my bull hunt at 130 in am it gave up on keeping out the rain. When ur in the rain in the middle of the night after a long day sept bull hunting the last thing u want to be doing is trying to set up a tarp over your supposed rain fly!!! I set up my brothers Kodiak and was very pleased. One of the easiest tents to set up and handled the weather very well. In my opinion canvas is the way to go. Sense then I have bought a Davis wall tent with wood burning stove but that is way more then your price range and quite an ordeal to set up at times. I would love to have a Kodiak as well for faster set up for shorter trips. I think they range from 4 to $600 but are worth it!
