A friend bought a pair of viper 15's the clarity was aa good as my Minox 15's and half the size and weight. If I were going to buy another pair or replace the ones I have I would by Vortex.

Nice fish! I am taking off on Friday and coming back Saturday. I will post with a report and hopefully some pics.

I went to Roosevelt on Sunday and caught around 10 bass it was little slow but steady. I talked to another fisherman and said he did good on spinnerbaits early in the morning. All of our bass came on plastics. We got on the water about 8:30 and fished until 3pm. Missed a few back in the brush. I am going back on Saturday to try my luck. Well I did not do as well as Luv2fish and standman. Only caught 1 crappie and 1 bass, but the boat ran well other than needing a new battery which I had already purchased. I am going to try it again hopefully Friday or Sat. depending on the weather. The one I did catch came on a Chartreuse grub and nothiing on minnows. The bass came on a power worm in about 8 ft of water off a point on the north side of the lake. Maybe it was the full moon and a front moving in. I seen 1 boat that had five crappie and they fished all day.

Thanks LeRoy for anther great fishing report. If I was not going to the NASCAR race in Vegas I would be going to the lake. The weather this week should get everything fired up.

I will also be in 27 for the spring hunt. Put alot of miles on the truck 2 years ago chasing birds. Still working on this turkey calling stuff so any help with calls would be greatly appreciated.

I cant wait to start catching some fish! Has anyone checked the price for an annual for the REZ? Any changes from last year?

What is the entry fee for your Tourney's? I have fished acouple at patagonia back a few years ago and may like to do it again if the price is right. I quit fishing Allstar years ago just tooo much cash to come up with.

WOW! That is some sh*# right there! I never have put any #'s together. I know if The U.S. was invaded I would be locked and loaded and do my part to dispel them out of our country! I have always read that China has the largest fighting force. I bet China would not like to land on our soil for a fight! SWEET POST!

Well people I have read about alot of bad stuff happening in Mexico but I am going to take my chances. Leaving on Saturday Oct 9th for San Felipe Mexico with about 7 other people in two different vehicles. I hope when I get back I can only tell you what a positive trip it was. I have been on this trip one other time and one Whitetail hunt and I did not experience any issues.
