If you listened to the last commission meeting you would know that this is indeed necessary. A hunter petitioned the commission to be issued an elk tag after having been successful in the draw but his bank turned down the charge as potential fraud. The commission voted 5-0 to deny his petition. The reason they gave was that he should have contacted the bank prior to the draw and alert them of the potential charge.

I read today that the reservoir is closed due to a drowning.

I was going to go with FDE but Eric showed me some he had just done in Elite Smoke and that's what I went with.

I Bought last year. Zero stop shims installed. The glass is perfect. It has slight ring marks and a scratch on the windage turret from fighting in the safe for space. Great scope, I just don’t have a need for it now. Comes with Butler Creek flip up caps.

I will check when I get home. I just got off the phone with Weatherby and they indicated if it has a three position safety it is two stage. I did learn that the gun has a MFG date of 2011. Must have been sitting in stock somewhere for a few years.
