My brother got one of the ram tags for 46B this year. Has anyone hunted in there or helped. We are doing a lot of research right now and plan on attending the seminar in September. He has been in contact with the refuge. Any first hand help would be great. Thanks a bunch. Eric

Well said cooper. It did get kinda of hand. That's the problem with technology. No human aspect in this conversation. Things can be missunderstood in a hurry. Kinda like texting. My wife gets upset a lot.

Db cooper. I hope I understand you. You think this forum favors hounds. I understand that azoutlaw's friend was waiting on hounds. One had dogs he paid for and raised. The other was waiting for a friends hounds. Either way, I think those that raise, pay for vet, food, ect. Deserve a little more respect than spitting on them.

I think I am not understanding. "YOU" left a track to find other tracks. "You" don't have dogs and come back to find a lion hunter with dogs ready to run a track. Did you put out a sign that said reserved for "your name here". I understand that sucks to find someone there but I don't get it. I think the lion hunter is in the right if no one was with the track. But the good news is that it will snow again and there are lots of lions in az. Next time ride with your buddy and his dogs. Just saying

Hello to all. The Tucson Chapter of the RMEF is hosting an archery 3D shoot. This will be a fun shoot and should help all of us get ready for the archery deer season. The shoot is December 4th and 5th. See the attached flyer for more information. Thank you, Eric W ARCHERY_SHOOT.pdf

Just a reminder that the 3D shoot is this weekend. This will be a great shoot and a lot of fun. We will have camping available. Shoot anytime during the day. $35 for 3 courses of 15 targets. Help the Tucson Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation raise money for conservation. Thank you and hope to see you there. Eric

I hunted 36B a lot several years back. I spent many hours working the refuge from south to north. I never saw a hog but was told they were there. I did come across a possible bedding area of hogs not Javelina. I was around the area of Round hill and Round hill tank. The bedding area was huge and I did see tracks that were bigger than Javelina. I would think with the way pigs reproduce that if there are any people would see more or see any at all. On the other hand I would also think hogs make good targets for preditors. Thats my two cents.

They had to piece his weight together. I found out yesterday that his weight was about 120. That was weighing everything seperate. A nice lion. It is amazing how much meat was on that guys head. I have done a few lion skulls before but none from up north like that. I took off a pound or more meat from his melon. Andy also has good video. It was good meeting you and your Dad. I know we will see you guys again. The hunting world is small and tight knitt. Eric

I got a quick score before I gave him to the beetles. I got 13 and 13/16. Good lion and should make P & Y. Eric

I was able to go along on this hunt. My brother was the hunter. Randy and Andy did an awesome job. Their knowledge of lion hunting showed that day. It was a long day but a success. Thanks Randy and Andy for you work. The day was awesome and of course I have been pluging your Outfit to anyone that will listen. I am going to get a green score on the skull tonight and post what I get later. Thanks again. Eric
