Looks like a pretty sweet rifle to me. The lighter the better in my book. -
Wow. Great buck.
-
We saw lots of turkeys but they were surprisingly quiet. Lots of hens with single gobblers and lots of strutting gobblers.
-
We just returned from our family turkey hunt on the rez. We had a great time as usual and were able to bring a bird home.

I am selling our family camp trailer. This trailer has served us very well for the past 5 years but with the family getting bigger its time to move on. My wife and I with our 3 boys have used this trailer on multiple trips to the Gulf of Mexico fishing, San Carlos deer and turkey hunts and many others. The trailer has been stored in an enclosed shop and is located in Yuma. It is a 2004 Starcraft Travel Star trailer. The model is a 19SD. It has 19 feet of living space and the total length of the trailer is 25 feet long. It has a queen bed that folds out the front and a queen bed that folds out the back. The table makes down into a bed and the couch makes down into a bed. The trailer has a air conditioner, heater, microwave, oven, flat screen tv with built in DVD player and satellite radio. The bathroom has a toilet, shower, sink and tub. The trailer came with a 28 gallon fresh water tank and I added another 30 gallon fresh water tank next to it under the trailer. They are plumbed together for a total of 58 gallons of water. It was a necessity with for the wife and kids that love to get filthy. I put new tires on it 7 months ago. The trailer is in very good condition but has been used quite a bit and has a fair share of scrapes and dings. I am asking $8,000. My number is 928-920-4920.

The deck is 7 ft 4 inches wide and 4 ft 2 inches long. It wiould be close but I think it would fit. The max tongue weight is 900 pounds.
-
I dont own a quad but I think it would fit. Send me the dimensions. I have a ranger and it will not fit. Ill check the tongue weight in the morning and send it to you.
-
Underneath the trailer I was able to put the additional tank. It fit perfect between the frame rails and looks factory. The fill hole is in the side of the trailer next to the original with the same cap.

That is one heck of a frame! Congrats.

Using a game cam is a great idea. I busted one of our employees last month stealing things from our farm shop. Its hard for the thief to deny it when you hand them a picture caught in the act. Man.......I hate a thief. -

Check out the look on the guys face when sarge throws the tissue box at him.....LOL!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaFy0x_Uixo -
Where we hunt in California we have to use copper bullets because its a condor safety zone. What a crock!! By the way those copper bullets are horrible.

Way to go.....GREAT buck! Go ahead and tell me where the trio of bucks are and I'll go try to find them for you. Just being a good friend. -
I was a Danner man until recently. I couldnt get my Danners to last more than a couple seasons with the rough desert we tend to hunt. I switched this year and went with Mendles. (I know the spelling is wrong) I've been very impressed so far. They take a while to breakin but once they did they have been great.

A couple years ago I made an overnight trip into some backcountry that looked like awesome whitetail country. While in there I glassed up some nice bucks and decided at some point in the future I wanted to do a backpack hunt and hit it hard. Well this was the year. It was me, my dad, nephew and a good friend. We headed in Thursday morning with each of us packing roughly 55 pound packs. Being that we had never done a trip like this before I wasnt sure what to take and what to leave. I didnt want to short us on supplies or food yet I didnt want to kill ourselves and take unnecessary gear. In the end it worked out great and we had plenty to be comfortable. Im now hooked on this type of hunt and will make some small changes next time to what I take. This was us fully loaded down ready to head out. A rogue cow almost ruined our trip when he came charging up the trail going into first canyon. He was ticked! Dad coming up one of the mountains. Home sweet home The country was great. I saw a total of 24 bucks and too many does to count. Derek taking a couple practice shots opening morning at a buck. Friday night it really stormed. The mountains had snow on them Saturday morning. Daily ritual of filling our water bottles. Me holding dads palmated buck. Derek with his first buck. He was pumped! Eating our MREs around the fire at night. Headed out after a good time.

Awesome! Way to keep it together in the final minutes when it mattered. That is a stud of a bull!

Chef......I hate to tell you but Matthewp45 rarely has good ideas. Trust me on this one. -
Well we are on the road for hopefully a great hunt. There are 4 of us going to backpack in and give em heck. Looks like the highs will be upper 40s to low 50s and lows in the 20s. I tried to go as light as possible but my pack still weighed in at 55 pounds. Nothing better than sitting behind the glasses watching the sun come up on beautiful country.

Dont apologize for the blood..........thats what its all about! Congratulations
