OSAMA or OBAMA
Kilimanjaro replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Jamaro, you're the Al Sharpton of our CWT community... always whining about how somebody hurt your feelings cuz somebody said something you didn't like, so you immediately throw in the "race, religion, creed, skin color, etc." towel for all to see.. Hate to burst your bubble, but that is what this country is based on. FREEDOM to say whatever the heck they want to, whenever they want to, to whoever they want to, however they want to! BTW, I don't care for Al Sharpton.. does that make me a racist?? Here's a perfect example of your "towel throwing"... I can plainly remember when you and I got into some pissing match over the illegal imm. problem, and without any provocation, you just HAD to throw it out there that you thought the BP were all a bunch of racists (at least the white BPA's) because you heard that BPA's call illegals "tonks".. The only reason you threw it out there was because everybody else was agreeing with my side and points of view, and you didn't like that one bit, so you tried the 'ol low ball tactic.. just like you are doing here, again. So remember, while you are completely free to say anything you want on here, (ya know, the whole US constitution thing), not everybody on here has to believe or care for your points of view. As they say, don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining.. -

It'd be alot closer for all the SE AZ guys to go to instead of the one in Flag... even the guys in western NM... Whatdya say guys?? No dates or anything yet, just a show of hands on who'd be in should one get assembled..

good luck getting guys on here agreeing that any .22 caliber rifle is a "good deer rifle" or a "well rounded gun".. I've taken plenty of deer with a 22-250, a B&C class pronghorn, a couple of blackbuck antelope, and even a beloved COUES with a .223WSSM, but most on this site will disagree with ya on that one... I do agree that it is on the light side of the spectrum, though.. wind can play havoc on .22 rounds. Ive owned several 22-250's.. my fave was a Rem 700 with a fluted bull barrell. I. I had a Swarovski 4x14 on top, and it was a super sweet shooting rig. I could thump critters WAY out there with that set up. I ended up having a guy offer me a good price for the gun, so I let it go. I'd like to have the same gun in a .220 Swift one of these days.. Had a 22-250 in a Ruger bolt action for a few years, but just couldn't get into the mauser action.. Also had a Ruger #1 in .222 Good luck! They are fun guns to shoot! And dont worry about the nay sayers.. they'll do the job just fine.

Texas Tom and the other lil' critters
Kilimanjaro replied to Coues 'n' Sheep's topic in Other Big Game
that's my hometown... lived there for 25 years!!! I could tell just by the countryside.. as for the "Mormons" in the press in the area, I remember when they bought that ranch.. we called them "the cult".. who woulda guessed?? We were spot on. They were NOT welcome in the community. Now they've forever marred my hometown as that spot where the crazy cult was at.. Pardon my french, but I say to heck with 'em. again, congrats on the guajalote!! -
