I'm right around the corner from you. I guess my weekend project has just been defined for me...Anyone have an impact drill I can borrow? I'll need to review my policy rider to make sure the value of my guns is covered. Really hope you are able to recover your guns and the SOBs that took them end up behind bars. Let me know if you find one, Larry... I'm right around the corner from you guys as well and after reading that they made off with the safe "in totale", I'll be bolting mine down as well.. The NE side has been getting hammered.. Thee has been 2 break ins within my division of Silverado Hills in the last few months.. I've had a home security system since we moved in here, but you cant be too careful these days.. I need to make a vid like that as well for the insurance comp..

Do (did) you have a home alarm system? I hate hearing things like that..

FEMALE GERMAN SHORTHAIR POINTER PUP READY NOW
Kilimanjaro replied to AZMEATHUNTER's topic in Classified Ads
I am sure Jim will let you trade your Franchi for that pup. She' a good looker for the AZ heat with all that white. And soon you will have your own backyard for her. I am sure he would... Since he would be getting about 2.5 times what he would be asking for the pup! Gonna get me a English Pointer female. English pointer is that a dog????i thouight that was a type of pen you better do your research young man. anyworking dog is awesome sure would like to see you down south with one of my pups though AZMEAT No need for him to do any resarch.. I am doing it for him.. I have an EP that'll punk any darn near any GSP out there.. Retrieving, honoring/backing, bird finding, holding, steadiness, class, style, etc.. You name it. And he'll do it looking WAY better than any GSP will. Ive got a TON of pics of him doing his THANG right her in CWT over the last few yrs... Every kind of WILD upland bird you can dang near think of, he's done it.. with CLASS. Blue grouse, Ruffed, Spruce, Sharies, Sage, Phez, Huns, Chukars, Bobs, Scalies, Mearns, Gambles, Valleys, Mtns, Gonna get Casey lined out on the same TX bloodlines later in the yr with a nice little EP female pup.. I'll get that pup turned into a Mearns machine by the 2010 season. That is, unless you like to hunt rabbits with an 870, Casey, behind a GSP!! To each his own! Nice looking pup, though.. -

NM Muzzleloader Antelope

I like the thought of the challange, and I've thought about doing the race every yr, but I dont own a racing bike!! I hear it's a blast to do. Way to go riding for a noble cause.. I'll be at the finish line cheering a few buddys on who are riding in the race.. On a side note, is anybody on here running in the upcoming Bisbee stair race? I've done that race a few times and while it may not be that long, it will SMOKE you!! I'll be down there again this yr. I'll also be running the race by my home here in Tucson on next Mon (the 7th).. It's an 8 miler and it winds through the Saguaro Nat Park Eastside paved track. I'l also be doing the annual PF Changs marathon in PHX in Jan. I'll be doing the 1/2 marathon on that one..

I once sat in at a waterhole in NM on an early season pronghorn hunt stripped down to nothing more than my skivvies.. It was like sitting in an oven in that doublebull blind!! I think I lost 10lbs on that hunt doing nothing at all!

Ive seen them in the Chinati mtns in the Big Bend area of west TX while chasing aoudads.. They behave and live in the exact same type of terrain and country as coues do. They are a subspecies of WT just like coues. It's unfortunate that B&C doesnt recognize them like they do coues cuz a 110 Carmen Mtn WT is a brute! I have a buddy in Dallas who shot a 130 typical BRUTE on a ranch in far western Coahuila, Mex back in 2002. It was an amazing Carmen mtn WT.

What is this rifle worth? Pre 64 Win
Kilimanjaro posted a topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Gents, I have a coworker who is offering me a pre 64 (1953 I believe) chambered in 300H&H. He told me to throw out a number to him and make an offer. I have no idea what the gun is worth. It hasn't been cleaned in years, is in pretty poor shape, but the action is still sound and could be put to work. Let's hear what you guys think this gun is worth and what could be done with it should I decide to buy it. I think it'd make a beautiful African plainsgame rifle with a nice walnut stock with an ebony wood end, nice glass on top.. Thanks for your input, guys.. -

Kilimanjaro replied to Redman's topic in Muzzleloader hunting for Coues Deer
Yep.. I have mine dialed in at 100, but I also have a muzz scope with the calibrated reticles in it.. It'll get out there with complete confidence to 275 by just putting the appropiate crosshair on your target. I'd like to keep the shots to 200 or less though. Then it's up to the shooter to get it there in the right spot.. -
Looks like a great hunt! Gotta love Africa.

Scouting trip and a Sonoran Whipsnake
Kilimanjaro replied to azpackhorse's topic in Non-hunting trip reports
Cool snake Brian! Ive only seen 1 of those in all the time I've spent down there.. Great pics of him having his lunch! Rattlesnakes are another matter! I saw 6 just last night! They have been EVERYWHERE lately. I'm usually seeing 3 or 4 everyday with most of those being Dbacks and Mojaves and a few blacktails up a bit higher.. I did see the 2nd Tiger rattler Ive ever seen a couple of weeks ago down south of Arivaca.. -
Good looking mount.. The Kruger gang does good work.
