Watched a portion of "Last of the Mohicans" last night while helping w/dinner. The "Long Carabiner" tells a fellow that using a silk patch would get him 40 extra yards out of his ammo. Was this statement for the viewer or a true statement? How the heck would he know anyway?

Cedar arrows weighing about 395 gr. when I get them. After fletching cresting staining sealing 410 gr +/- then add a 165 gr. flat blade Stos BH......razer sharp. Pulling 60 @ 28". Same for the Whitetail same for the Rio same for the Wapiti.

Long ago in a land (state) far away baiting was legal where I then lived. Do not remember exactly how much you were allowed to dispense at your location each time. I would take a 5 gallon bucket of carrots and one of apples about 3/4 of a mile back in 'da woods" dump them quickly and get out. Those suckers were gone almost everytime I came to restock, which was about every 3 days as I was newly married and still in school. Opening morning comes and I go back in to the blind I had made with small timbers and brush (should have invented a pop up tent) about 50 yards from the bait. Sit for maybe 10 minutes and think to myself " you got a good hour before daylight go look and see how much is still left. Leave my rifle at the blind grab the flashlight and walk over moving the light back and forth as I go almost right at my feet so as I don't trip. I get almost to the base of the large tree where I had been putting the bait and I hear the loudest scream I ever heard and it came out of my mouth. All I see is some fellow's legs at the base of the tree, he is sitting right on top of my apples and carrots and never gave any warning as I approached. We both said some words to each other which i can't recall exactly, I don't think I was too polite. Since then I have always tried to go a little deeper into the country then other hunters, don't want anybody scaring me. -
You said "the lighting was poor but they came out okay" ???? Wow! Those are way better than okay. Real nice!!!!!!!!!

clap clap clap. Your smile is great. Did you have even a thought at that time of him being "THE TOAD"? Got more photos to share. Congrats again

Bummer on the addiction people. I discovered the site only one month ago and have been cruising through almost everything 2-3X/day. I could quit if I wanted to, I have intestinal fortitude. Just because I have "NEVER" seen a Couse Deer and I come here bothers me. (I will change that in 3 wks.)

Talented Viking aren't you? They use to build ships soooo. I find it difficult to sharpen wood pencils Good one for sure. I don't think I would show this to my wife.

Here is last Friday evenings beginning. My wife has decided we need to paint the entire inside of the house, so I made it intesting not overwelming with the tracks. Not my idea of course, someone showed it to me.

Wow you found this fast. I took a large plastic coffe can lid and a hoove printout off the computer which I enlarged to the correct proportion. Tooka utility knife "slowly -carefully" cut it out and used the pink dry wall spackling. It really does look nice, I have the print walk along the wall in the loft over to the other side of the room and just a touch of the Bear print as they are suppose to be allusive and on the hunt ...

The talents that God gave some people in things like the photo above are amazing. Beautiful!! -
Hello, Received my "How to Hunt Coues Deer" from this site last evening, great read so far (love to read). RedRabbit told me where to go on the AZFG site for more information. Printed out the critical page from the AZFG site in the area I wished to look at and at the same time was looking at the book. Low and behold AZFG must have read it also as they were exactly in line with Adams and Mandile on where I should go. I feel lucky already
