Compared to last year this year has really been bad. I've hunted a total of 14 days and only seen 4 mature bucks. Even large groups of doe have been hard to find. These 4 mature bucks only 1 has been with does. Is anyone having better luck?

It was meant to say due to the fact that everyonne would tell him that. I know hunting is not a sure thing especially when you are a desert hunter and sent up to the pines to hunt with no scouting. Its like bringing one of the boys frm the mountains down to my desert to hunt coues. We tried our best and sad thing is he had a jr tag for 33 and we went out two days and didn't find a decent buck. The moon and hot days messed that up. But your rite no high fences here.

Well I was up ther fri sat sun and my friends son was really disapointed in his hunt. Everyone told him it was a surething but it wasn't. We hunted everywhere and walkd a lot on seen a few cows but they were running.

I've hunted ther a lot all my hunting life and I knw last year that road was really over grown but I'm sure he dnt mind. I knw they having lots of lion problems between his ranch and all the way to copper creek. So if you go that way get ur lion tag .

Yup there is a big issue with that here in the Galiuro Mountains. Try the Klondyke area which would be the back side of the Galiuros.
