I think you need to go to your account options and make it open to public so we can view the videos. That is how it was for me because it is saying that I need to put in your password. -
Well I am back from my scouting trip. Throughout the weekend I was able to locate 13 bucks (4 were 3x3's 5 were forks and 2 of the forks were over 70 and the rest were spikes). The snakes were out big time this weekend also. I saw 3 rattlers (2 blacktails and a western diamondback). Also out of the 13 buck 4 were out of velvet. Only a few more weekends til the October hunt. All the pictures minus the random critter were taken from 600 to 800 yards. Here is a small 3x3 Here is a good 3x3 Here is a video of the good 3x3 Here is a video of both 3x3's Here is a find the deer pic (should be pretty easy) Here is my random critter for the scouting trip. (first trip was a tarantula second trip was a turtle and this trip he is a little more dangerous).

I will start the bidding at $20 Sorry had to do it but if I had any money left I would want that. Truly a bomber buck. -
I am actually back home right now but will be going down Friday again to scout the weekend one last time before my dads hunt. Let me know and we can meet up and talk and do some glassing.
-
My dad and I were scouting this morning and we were driving a dodge with a topper. Not sure where big sandy is though?

Yes I am staying at the Univeral Ranch RV park. They have full hookups for only $25 a night or $10 a night for tent camping and you don't have to worry about illegal activity. That didnt take to long for someone to find the deer

Both have fantastic glass and both have great warranties. It will all be personal preference. But I am a swarovski fan big time.

Great elk and a great animal for the first with a bow. So he scored right at 280 is what you are saying right -

Very nice buck there Scotty. Sounds like a good ol' fashion hard hunt that turned out successfully. Congrats to your buddy on what looks like an awesome goat. -
Going scouting this weekend. I will be leaving Friday midday and coming back sunday afternoon. If anybody wants to join me shoot me an email or pm. Going to be in unit 36b.

Does anybody on here put there own fletching on their arrows? If you do what kind of setup do you use? I went shooting today and I had fletching come off of 4 of my arrows and I do not want to have to pay over $5 per arrow if I can repair the fletchings.

Happy Birthday Cheg hope you have a good day and good season

Well I am not sure if Sportsmans does or not but I know that Cabelas has a few good archery guys there.
-
I am not sure what type of fletchings I have that are coming off. All that I know is that I am shooting Easton Carbon Storm 50/65 arrows. I was looking at my whisker bisquit and my fletchings are not hitting the tighter packed hair in the bottom. So I am not sure what is making the fletchings come off. I am going to run out to either Sportmans Warehouse or Cabelas tonight and talk to the archery people out there and get me setup with a flething setup to use. Thanks for all of your help guys I really appreciate your help since I still know nothing about this archery stuff yet.

I was looking at the Arizona EX Fletch and for the price it looked good and it looked like it was the easiest to use. Also another question. My fletchings on my new arrows are coming unglued and it is the same fletching on all of them. Is this a fault by the manufacturer or is it possibly my whisker bisquit tearing the fletchings off?

Man I have had my coueswhitetail sticker for about a year and I havent had anybody honk at me or seen another vehichle with the coueswhitetail sticker on it either. I must be in the wrong place at the wrong time or something -
Well I never posted a picture of my coueswhitetail sticker before and sw this up last night so I took some pics this morning to show it off. I also have quite a few other stickers on the back of my truck. The one in the middle on the bottom has gotten me in a few pickles with parents

Well I went to unit 10 to help a couple of buddies who had archery bull tags. Sadly they have not tagged yet but will be up there the whole hunt. I on the other hand I as able to locate 44 bulls in 2 1/2 days. Out of those 44 bulls 30 were 6x6 or bigger and out of those 30 at least 22 would have scored over 300. I was able to locate 25 6x6's, 1 6x7, 3 7x7's and an 8x7. I got some pictures of a few of the bulls but some are not clear because a few of these pictures were taken at close to 2 miles. A nice 7x7 that decided to stand broadside from me at 42 yards for about 3 minutes. I really wish I had the tag This is the picture taken from about 2 miles. He was a wide 7x7 that I thought would go in the 350 range. Here is a picture of a 6x6 and the antler above the tree is from a 6x7. Here is a pic of the 6x6 in the picture above. He was a very solid bull in the 330 range I believe. Lastly I ran into some not so smart mulies. They let me get within 40 yards of them while I was in the open. Hope y'all enjoy. And lets hear some feedback on these bulls.

I just talked to my buddy with the tag and he was able to tag out this morning with a 330 class 7x7. He will be back later this week and I will post pictures then.
