http://www.rei.com/product/112775.htm I have not used the filters you said but I did use the one above while in Alaska. The only complaint I have about it is that it takes quite a while to refill several water bottles.

What should my name be?
azcouesandelk replied to azcouesandelk's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
I plan on keeping the scout for many many years to come. I am hoping to keep it til the end. I know how to fix all the parts on it and if the engine were to go I will replace it with a crate motor since with the transmission I have it can take many differnet types of motors. -

This was my last scouting trip before my dads October tag. We were able to find 3 bucks in 1 1/2 days of scouting. We were able to locate the same 3 points as I posted pictures of from scouting trip #3 http://forums.coueswhitetail.com/forums/in...?showtopic=4217 Sadly I was unable to get any pictures since they were in relatively thick trees and bedded down. Was able to locate a little fork that my dad said he would shoot. The picture is from over 1200 yards away. Also found a fawn getting milk from a doe which I thought was pretty neat. Picture was taken form 600 yards away. Lastly hear is my random critter. And yes this is from 36b and they are common in one area. Hope everybody enjoys my next post of deer will hopeully be a successful hunt for my dad.

Good Pack Needed ASAP!!!
azcouesandelk replied to azcouesandelk's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Well I ordered the Eberlestock J104 today but they were out of the spike camp duffels so will have to wait til I can order that. Thanks everybody for you input. -
Ok this weekend while scouting my pack got torn. The internal frame ripped out. I am now in the market for a good pack. I am want a pack with 4000 cubic inches of storage or more. Camo is not a huge deal for me but it would be a plus. My price range is unde $400. I am looking at the badlands 4500 and the kifaru long hunter 5200. Anybody else have any good options for me?

I hate snakes but that first pic is really good I must admit. The bobcat wouuld be mounted and for the pigs I would take the one on the far right once he got up.

Good Pack Needed ASAP!!!
azcouesandelk replied to azcouesandelk's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Ok I have been reading pack reviews for the last 2 hours and think I may have found the right pack but I want some feedback on it. The Eberlestock J104 pack. It seems like it will do anything that I want it to do and then some. From what I have read it would be a good pack for the day trips and a good pack for doing spike camps. Anybody on here ever use it or know someone who has? -
Digiscoping adapter for digital camera

I am not sure how well barska makes adapters but I am not a fan of barska at all. Had a scope of theres and 1 shot from my .243 and it knocked the crosshairs out. -

Now that is high quality video there. Very nice job and how did you get it so it only opens up the video instead of you account? -

I honestly don't know I would think if you have a program to edit videos that you could sharpen it up and it could make it a little clearer but that is my only idea.
