Here are a couple pics of a bald eagle. Thought they turned out great.

I was seeing at least a black bear a day. I had several days where I would see several black and several grizzly.

Thats the plan. Hunt for a 400 bull and shoot the first 330 plus bull that steps out. We will see how the scouting goes.

This is a picture of some bear tracks that appeared in the middle of the road between the time it took me to walk the 50 yards to the river drop off the clients and come back to pick up my pack. It seems like it is a good size bear

What happend was that after someone said 85k he went on for close to 2 minutes asking for 90k and said sold after a very long pause. Right after the auctioneer said sold someone went and said 90k for there bid and the auctioneer said that he already said sold and had given plenty of time for anyone to speak up which was true. Anyways it was kinda disappointing but it kept things interesting the rest of the night

I have 3 favorite pictures The first one is my dad's first coues. He has lived in Arizona for 28 years and this was his 9th hunt for them. He finally connected on this hunt with a nice fork. My second picture is my first coues buck. Alot of effort went into both of these deer with many scouting trips. The third picture is actually a video clip of a buck that was shot at and missed by a client and then I was able to stalk the same buck with my bow 2 weeks later within 100 yards of the same spot. This has to be the luckiest buck down south right now

Here is a pic of some trumpeter swans that would frequent the area. Always an awesome sight to see a bird that big. Here is a pic of 5 trumpeters flying over head.

Sorry I didn't get any pics up yesterday I was at the AES banquet from 7:45 A.M. til 3 A.M. this morning. Here is a couple pics of the sleeping quarters I had for 2 weeks. No doors not windows but a tent to keep the bugs away. Notice the new piece of plywood? I put that up because the bears and porcipines (sp?) would come up each night scratching on the building.

It was a blast at the banquet this year. Now I am broke and I didnt come home with anything but it went to a good cause so I am happy.
