Through a Hunter's Eyes
azcouesandelk replied to tjhunt2's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
I post all my stories on here in as much detail as I can and then print them out and keep them in a scrap book. I always make note to mark where I went on what day so I will not forget the places. I also have photo album full of all the pictures I take from my hunting trips. I hope to never forget any of my hunts because I learn something new everytime I go out and I always attempt enjoy every second I spend in the field even if some are not so enjoyable. -
This would have been a perfect picture except for the dang mesquito that landed on the lense. Oh well one of the few sunsets I watched.

Scott that double eyeguard rack is awesome and that 10 point is a dandy buck. Those birds aint half bad either Those pics are awesome show the colors really well -
Alright both of these guys are guides at the lodge and are both awesome fisherman. This is your typical size king (right around 25 to 30 pounds).

You are off to a great start Troy!!! Keep up the good work and good luck this next season!

That didn't take to long to get the story up Great hunt by the sound of it. Now you need to get back up there and get your bird in 2 weeks!
-
Nice writeup and pics. Looking forward to see how it all happend on day 3!
-
Great bird and sheds! Thanks for the pics they are awesome.
-
Great job Brian! Guess I got drawn for the wrong unit this spring

All these pictures are making me want to get up north and do some fishing. Great pics everybody keep them coming!

I have shot all the bows that kevin has mentioned and I agree that the drenalin and guardian are a better bow than the vectrix. The vectrix is a great bow but it just does not have the speed as the others. Also it has a little more vibration than the drenalin but a little less than the guardian. All these bows are top of the line and worth the money.

Here is one of the other guides with a nice 40 pound class king. This guy was awesome he would hold the kings up by there tail and punch them in the head to kill them. Let me tell you that it is no easy feat I attepted it once and thought I broke my hand after I finally accompished it on the fifth or sixth try.

Congrats on a very successful spring!
-
Congrats on some great birds!
-
Congrats on the bird! I was up in 8 and there was zero gobbling. Never actually heard one call. Had to come home early because my dad was getting an allergic reaction from the junipers. Will be heading back up in 2 weeks to try again. Were any of the birds gobbling in your area?

Thought this was pretty neat idea to come up with. So if you hurt your arm before your hunt there is still hope http://youtube.com/watch?v=5oS_CURmq_Y

Alright here is a picture of a decent king that is ariel. Thought it was a neat picture. If you look on the left side of the picture you can see the line somewhat. No pictures for Friday, Saturday and possibly Sunday have to go up turkey hunting in 8

Great job that first set has some awesome tops on him! Good luck on your turkey hunt I am out of here in about 4 hours to head up.

"Brown N Proud"

Not a bad looking blazer. I am a fan of the older trucks personally but I need to upgrade to something a little quieter than the ol' scout, but I will never get rid of the rig. Bought it from our neighbor who bought it brand new in 1978 and it has never left the state. Nothing better than having 345 ft. lbs. of torque in a small truck! Even though it is as heavy as a new Tahoe!!! -

This is worse than me posting pics of the tarantula -
I liked taking closeups of the fish because it really shows how gorgous they are. Here is an extreme closeup of nice rainbow
