http://forums.coueswhitetail.com/forums/in...ic=2891&hl= Here is a short writeup about the javelina hunt. I believe that the story is in Volume 5 Issue 1 and is titled "Better Late Than Never".
-
Thanks Josh! My dad and I are very proud of his buck and the effort we put into him. That is the second article I have published in AZOD. The first one is my dad and my javelina hunt from last year.

I think you could score it in about 3 or so hours. Josh where do you go to buy these sheds or at least see them?

Can you say OUCH!!

Man gas is expensive down there I filled up for $2.98 a gallon the other day. Not saying that isnt outragous because it still is. I remember when my dad would tell me stories about his dad buying gas for $0.05 a gallon -
Not even close to out of pictures but I have been really busy lately. The only time I have had off I am either sleeping, driving, attempting to get some post read or hunting. I will try to get one up later tonight.

Ernesto I was getting worried I hadn't seen you on for a few months!!! Good to see you back on.

Those are awesome antlers Josh!!! I wish I had the opprotunity to hold those things!!!

I haven't seen him on the bords anywhere? Hope I didn't run him off We realy didn't shoot "your" turkey YH. I saved the old wise "trophy" tom for you. .... Don't worry guys I haven't been run off! I was up working on a fence removal project with the Arizona Elk Society. I will be posting a writeup and pictures later from there. Lance that was a blast of a hunt. The gobblers were going nuts in the roost I really thought we had it made but he was definately the wise trophy tom of the mountain!!!

Turned out great Manny! Love how much his horns curve down.
-
Do you know if he is talking about the muleshoe ranch? I have seen some big mulies in there and some big coues for that matter.
-
you are a fine one to talk there killer. I am not even gonna try to start a fight with you Casey. I was just throwing in a joke like several others did. My deer was aged at 2 1/2 years. Sorry if you took it the wrong way but we were just joking around!

But what about all the baby carp? They have to worry now
-
What a great find!!! Did he find them in AZ or NM?

Well said missedagain. My next scope will either be a zeiss conquest 6.5-20x50 or a the leupold vx-III with the same magnification. I shot my deer this year right at 75 yards and I had the scope cranked up to 10x and did not have to crank it back down. Was able to see the full body of the deer quite clearly and I made an ethical shot. I also have a Burris Fullfield II and I would recomend staying away from the burris. They make some good stuff and the black diamond is there higher grade but it is not quite as good as the leupolds or the zeiss.

Jack you are the man. Both of those bucks are awesome and your buck from this year was just as impressive. That is an awesome setup for the mounts. Also how wide is the lower buck? -
http://forums.coueswhitetail.com/forums/in...ic=5764&hl= There ya go Terry.

Looks like the same tree to me. Look at the top branch on the right hand side. All I can think of when I see that is all the money stuck in that tree
-

No More Motorized Retrieval Az Big Game
azcouesandelk replied to rthrbhntng's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I agree with removing a small portion of the roads but going from over 1000 miles to around 150 is a huge step and it is way to drastic. The roads left will be only the major roads that everybody tries to avoid. With only these roads left the camping will be very limited and there will be alot of populated camping areas. Also alot of people say they will put the boot leather into the hunt and most of the time will never leave site of the road! Also it is not impossible to get away from traffice anymore all one needs to do is scout out an area and find somewhere that has a pocket with no roads. Most people think it can't be done but trust me there are plenty of places that you can get away from the crowds you just need to put in your time. If there is fewer roads also you are gonna need to put in even more time hiking into secluded areas because you will need to get further away from the roads so you can be away from all the road hunters that will be left on the few roads. This is not a shot at you I just feel that we need to take action and try to keep a good portion of the roads so we can still have our camping, hunting and if lucky enough off road travel to retrieve game if one is careful and not tearing up the land! -

It will be about 1.5 times the size of cabelas. That will be mostly the boat department from what i understand -
Yeah I did camp out and it has happend to me once. I woke up to take a leak and saw several illegals filling there water jugs with a 5 gallon jug of water that I had on my table. If you keep your stuff hidden you should not have any problems with them hanging around your camp. Also I would recomend looking for a campground to stay in. That is what I did this last season and it made it alot less stressful.
