azcouesandelk replied to ruppart's topic in Classified Ads
Hey GameHauler I am right at the 6 foot area maybe a touch under and here I am packing out my dads deer in one trip. IT is a very comfortable pack and it should fit you fine. Also mine is the J105 not the 105 -
Oh and by the way Dallas you are in trouble this week I have my 40 pin sited in now Also I will be a year older and more experienced

Neat pictures guys. Hope the fire stays away from your dads cabin Ron. Anybody know how contained this fire is and how large it is now?

The second to last bull has some of the biggest thirds I have ever seen. Great job Gino and good luck this year on getting your Rocky Mt. Sheep tag -

Tell your brother he is doing a bang up job and to keep up the good work and an eye on all them bulls especially that first 7x7. -
Both German made both have good glass. The biggest difference is the eyecups and the coating on the lenses. The minox does not have as high of quality coating and much larger eyecups. Go to a store that carries them both and see which one fits your face better. The swaros fit mine alot better and they are a little lighter.

Most of the trick tanks are holding water and a good portion of the water tanks are holding some water at least. The water level is down and with the lack of rain there isnt as much good forage for the animals so antler growth will be below average (there are exceptions such as over in unit 1 and 27). There is enough water for the animals and with all the projects being done it is only helping. There is always room for more though I will not turn down more water though

How many times do you see this??
azcouesandelk replied to akuritone's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
That is really neat and unusual. The closest unit that has antelope will be the bordering units of 21 and 4a -
That was a very good write up and testing procedure. Good to see that the Diamond Black-Ice ranked so high. It is one of the more popular bows that we sell at Sportsmans. Also the Martin Bengal got the best bang for the buck which somewhat surprises me since it is so heavy compared to other bows and not near as fast, but it is a really smooth and quiet bow which is the most important thing in my opinion

Can you tell?
azcouesandelk replied to bowhuntinmaniac's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
Hard to tell but it looks like a split eyeguard with a short mainbeam coming off. Still a really neat looking buck and not one to overlook. -
A few more pics
azcouesandelk replied to akuritone's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
Great pics there akuritone those look like some great bulls. I really like the first bull with the kicker coming off of his g4 and all the mass on the top end. Keep an eye on those guys they should be good ones come opening day. -
I hate Scottsdale I have lived here for 13 years now and my family has had 1 truck stolen and several break ins. It is ridiculous. Sorry to hear that happend to ya Manny. It is a terrible thing and I know alot of us can feel your pain.

Dodge warranty question
azcouesandelk replied to firstcoueswas80's topic in Non-hunting trip reports
It will still void the warranty since it is not the stock parts my dads buddy had the same situation. -
Dodge warranty question
azcouesandelk replied to firstcoueswas80's topic in Non-hunting trip reports
If you put on a leveling kit and you have any problems with allignment or suspenson chrysler will not keep it under the warranty since it is now factory stock. -
My checks were cashed about 3 weeks ago. I also heard about the July 17th rumor. That would be nice but that would be a really fast turn around and I don't think that will happen.

Well I havent been able to post as much lately but logged on today and realized that this will be my 1500th post . I am now working at Sportmans Warehouse off of the U.S. 60 and Greenfield in the archery department (so swing by and say hi). I got rid of my 4 arrow quiver and stepped up to the 6 arrow one so I will have plenty of arrows for all of my misses .I have been shooting around 6 days a week and have added some new stuff to my bow. I took my whisker bisquit off and put on a trophy taker shakey hunter and watched my arrow sail 6 fps faster and saw my groups shrink by at least a 1/3 at close ranges and more than half at longer ranges. Was going to go up to the seen shoot today but had some problems with my bow so decided I would stay in the heat and get them fixed. My winnners choice string came in yesterday so I put that on and threw away my old peep with the tube and put a 2 strand 3/16 inch peep on. After putting on my new string my bow went from 70 pounds up to 75 and my speed went from 274 to 282.5 with 400 grain arrows so I am now at the 71 K.E. mark and am very happy with that. Just a little rant but wanted to give everybody an update so you know I am preparing for my archery bull tag (right bobbyo). Going to go scouting this next week not sure what days yet my schedule might be changed but possibly thursday and friday so if you want to tag along just shoot me a PM. Here are some pictures of my bow with the add ons (mostly the string and quiver) Just to show the string and peep a little bit How my pins are set (and I won't shoot over 50 for elk but have the other pins to shoot for fun and help me hold steadier at closer ranges) Here is one for you guys who dont draw tags to stare at and dream about for a while
