azcouesandelk replied to Lance's topic in CouesWhitetail.com Get-togethers!
Alright Lance sounds good! So everybody how many targets are we bringing? I will bring my 1 and will have to mark the rings on it for scoring. -
Look at the Jim White Tripler. I know doug (Red Rabbit) and Jim (Coosefan) did a review on the site for it. Also I believe that Amanda sells them on the website.

Lets make it even better and say no expandables!!! -
The way I look at whisker bisquits is that you have constant drag along the arrow and if the fletching does not go through the same spot it will not fly the same. I like the fall-aways alot more because the fletchings never touch the rest so it does not impare flight.

http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/022...ase0228-ON.html New wild turkey subspecies introduced in Arizona Associated Press Feb. 28, 2008 01:14 PM LITTLEFIELD - Wildlife officials have released 55 wild turkeys in a remote part of northwestern Arizona in hopes the birds will grow into a huntable population within a few years. The nonprofit National Wildlife Turkey Federation on Thursday announced the Jan. 16 release of the turkeys in an isolated section of the Black Rock Mountains, about 15 miles south of the Utah border. The federation said the release of the Rio Grande turkeys adds a new subspecies of wild turkeys in Arizona. Two other species, the Merriams and the Goulds, are thriving. The Rio Grande turkeys were trapped near Beaver, Utah - an area similar to the Black Rock Mountains, according to Scott Lerich, a regional biologist with the federation. The turkeys were fitted with wing tags and eight hens were fitted with radio transmitters to monitor their progress. "They should adapt well to their new habitat," Brian Wakeling, a big game supervisor with the Arizona Game & Fish Department, said in a news release. "We feel good about our odds of seeing some nesting activity when we follow up with the birds this spring or summer." The department has future plans to release more Rio Grande turkeys in the area. Rio Grande wild turkeys are native to the central plains states and were named after the great river, according to the National Wildlife Turkey Federation. They are about 4 feet tall and can weigh as much as 20 pounds.

I shoot a trophy taker shakey hunter but my next bow will have the trophy taker pronghorn. I like the trophy hunters just because they are a simple design and are very consistent. When it comes to a dropaway you really cant go wrong with any of them that are on the market. Alot of people like the ripcord and ultrarest since you can lock them up before the shot (also because it has a bar across) so ou do not need to worry about the arrow coming off. With those 2 rest when you draw back and release they will then work like a normal dropaway.

You guys better watch out I have been practicing my 100 yard shot and I am finally getting comfortable shooting at long ranges again. Right now I am throwing down 4 to 5 inch groupings at 80 yards and plan on doing that at 100 by the time this camp out rolls around!!! I have 1 skull that I am going to have Amanda score at the ISE show for the guess the score and also will bring a single shed to see who can guess the closest. Anybody have any ideas for prizes? I am thinking some broadheads, t-shirts and gift cards. -
Hey Gino will you take about 1/5 of what you are asking I would like to get a nice full-size truck that has a flat bed on it!

Anybody have an open seat at there table. I was thinking about going but don't want to be all by myself -
Need to get rid of both of these. Here is the wolf pack. I cant remember what model it is but it is the largest pack they have. Good condition used on 2 hunts. Asking $75 or best offer will consider trade. The tripod legs are bogens and are the 3001bn model. The head is also a bogen and is a model 3265G. They have been used but not abused. Are in good shape and I am willing to part with the package for $125. Will sell head and legs seperate just make a reasonable offer.

The pack is off the market now! Thanks everybody. Even the 2 clowns on here

TRIPOD IS SOLD!!!

I have handled and shot many of the X-Forces and this is the very first instance I have heard of it also. I would go down to PSE and have them look it over and try to figure it out and have them keep giving you strings under there warranty until they have it figured out!
