    FS: 1978 International Scout II

They want me to have a newer vehichle that is "safer" they think if I were to get into an accident with the Scout I might get hurt. O hwell they are paying for the insurance and it is in their hands now.

Surprisingly this rig gets around 15 mpg on the freeway and 12 mpg in town. It isn't as good as some newer vehichles but good luck finding a carberated engine that will do that. Also with the 727 touraueflite tranny you can get a crate motor from chrysler that will bolt right up such as the 318 or 360 both are fuel injected.

Since my mom got a new car I inherited her old truck which was the plan but we didn't think this would happen until this December so this is my new ride. I still want the scout though

Man you must either be really frustrated with people not understanding what you are saying or you were extremely bored at 2:30 in the morning. Either way it made me laugh and maybe there won't be as many questions now.

    Favorite Trophy's

Well there are 4 hunts that come to mind. The first is my dads first coues buck Then my first coues buck Then my first bull elk/first archery harvest (couldn't have done it if Manny wasn't there, I owe you big time Manny!) Then my dad myself and cody getting a triple on javelina (it was probably the most fun day of hunting I have ever had, not only was I able to watch my dad harvest his first ever archery animal I got to spend the day with my dad and a good friend.)

    Rage broadheads

I have harvested 2 Javelina with the 2 blade and my dad harvested his first with a 2 blade. All 3 pigs died within 30 yards and all left great blood trails. I would recomend them for deer and pig but you would need a good amount of KE to blow through an elk with them. I know GRONG has used them and liked them, hopefully he will chime in with some info

    AES's Walt Nicoson passes away

Walt Nicoson was a one of a kind guy. He always had a smile on his face and did everything he could to help others out. Even though I only knew Walt for a little over a year he was like a grandfather to me. He was dedicated to AES and will always be remembered. My prayers are for Walt and Cookie and I will be there for you when you need me up there Cookie!

    fall-away rests

Twoguns the whisker bisquit does get the job down without a dought but the fall away rest is better for several reasons. 1. It is more consistent since there is nothing touching the fletchings and there is minimal drag along the arrow. This helps with accuarcy both at close range and especially at longer ranges (50+ yards). With the constant drag along the arrow with the bisquit you will see groupings at from 40 to 50 yards open up widely and with a fall away you wont see it as much. 2. You will have to change the bisquit because if you shoot alot the hairs in the bisquit will start to fray and cause the arrow to fly differently than before. Another thing about the bisquit is that if the fletching do not go through the same hairs it will fly slightly different and that is where you will lose accuracy down range. Hope this helps out. I am not saying th bisquit is a bad rest but it is a rest that you will need to keep a much closer eye on.
