Way to go Brandon! I knew you guys would get it done!

Was helping a YOUNGGUNZ and his dad on the first hunt and we found this buck. What do think he will and how wide do you think he is?

That is probably one of the neatest bucks I have ever seen! Awesome job on a great buck with the ol' smokepole!

With all honesty that is just about how wide he sat! Some of you guys may not believe me but that is what I saw!

I know that an 18 inch inside spread is a huge score, but most of you guys know that I spend alot of time out glassing and scouting and hunting and see a good amount of deer. I can honestly say that this is the widest buck I have ever seen in my life and I have seen 2 different bucks go down that were 16 1/2 inches and 17 1/4 inches wide and this buck was wider than both of them. I use the ears as a rule of thumb for scoring saying the average mature coues buck has 14 to 15 inch ears. I know that isn't always a good reference as far as scoring since my buck last year was 19 inches from tip of ear to tip of ear. I may be way off on the score of this buck also it is just my opinion. Hopefully my dad will lay the smack down on him and we will get to see what he really is

TJ I bet your dad was just as happy to be spending time with you in the field, and probably just as excited to see you pull the trigger as when you were a little tike. Great buck and lion!

The picture really doesnt give him what he is. MB - 16 to 17 G1 - 1 to 1.5 G2 - 4 to 5 Mass - 10 Inside Spread - 18 Gross - 80 to 85 I figure he is in the 80 to 82 range, but what do I know I don't want another arguement like we had with Ron Burgandy

Sadly no other angles of him. I can honestly say that when his ears are layed out he is at least 1.5 inches past each ear if not more.

He is definately a 2x2 with small eyeguards (probably 1 to 1.5 inches). He was trying to grow thirds but its just less mass just past where he is attempting to grow it out. I personally am adding him up to about 80 inches with an 18 inch inside spread.

As far as I know this buck is still alive and well. There was some lead thrown his way but none connected.

That is an awesome story and huge congrats to Garrett! Talk about a birthday he will never forget!
