Once the tags are gone they wont be able to issue anymore. The sooner you call and talk to them the better

I had it happen this year for the same hunt. Got the application returned to me on Friday saying all hunts were filled when there were still leftovers. Called game and fish and explained the situation. They met up with to view the application and got me the tags. Apparently they thought it was hunt 1090 not 1190 which was 24a hunt

Last year portals were updated mid week. Let them do there jobs and we should know by Friday for sure

Had a tag last year and killed a solid bull. Looking to harvest a mature 6x6 whether it be 320 or 360

The elk draw was about 7 days after cards were hit. If it goes smooth again I would think by Friday

I believe what BowNut is saying is that the forest service considers any property left unattended for 72 hours is considered abandoned property. As any hunter knows you are not going to check your camera every 3 days but that is what forest service considers abandoned

This was the first year in CO where an applicant did not need to front the entire tag costs to apply. A huge increase was expected this year.

Flatlander I think the frustration with this is the fact that so many people sit on the sidelines saying how the groups can do so much better but very few ever go and attempt to help. Not saying that you or others dont because I dont know that. I will be at the meeting tomorrow night to listen to every bodies input and hopefully some common ground can be found and as a group we can come up with some more solid details wether it is with a tag raffle or something else

I believe the only meetings they have had about this have been with the conservation groups to gather information from them so they could gather their input to come up with the general idea before getting public input. I expect there will be many meetings posted in the future for questions and input

Looks like the group has been brought up a while back as being a major part of the HSUS battle

It is compatable with a bladder. I have the ox and it is a great pack, but it is on the heavy side

Highly recommend going with a limb driven rest. You will have zero tension on your cable so it will be easier to tune and keep in tune. Ive been shooting the trophy taker smackdown for 7 years now and doubt I will be changing
