Ok that exlains why I saw the purple prickly pear at lower elevations this past weekend since it was dry down there. When up north thought would that mean that they are stressed from the cold and that is why they turn purple?

What a buck. Very symmetrical with good tines and mass. That is the defenition of a coues there. It will be very tought to beat that but I am sure he is up for the challenge.

Now that is shed hunting man. Able to locate both broken tines is quite an accomplishment. Also nice shed.

I agree with Shiras. Pitbulls are only raised to fight it seems like. They are a danger to society and should be rid of. I love dogs but ones that fight and attack people should be exterminated.

I call them carp because they are alot bigger than whitetail and carp are big fish I mean they get up over 40 pounds and also not to offend anybody but also they are not as smart as the coues. I mean it is still a very majestic animal but in my own opinion nowhere near that of a coues.

I must agree binos backpacks and guns are a little more important than a computer.

This is starting to make me think more about those northern units a little more. I mean I always have been interested in 6a and 21 but never put in for them.

All I can say is wow what a great buck love the double eyeguards on it and the mass.

This year so far I have gotten I believe 70 or so Gambells only 2 Mearns just to dang dry and 40 or so dove havent gotten into any scalies yet but still have not hunted the ol' honey hole. Will post pics later.

Wow am I glad I wasnt looking at this before. All I can say is great job. Sounds like alot of nice bucks were seen and 2 dandies were taken. Great job and as always great post and thanks for the pics.
