The bitter clingers and deplorables have spoken.

Maybe not so fast with giving the Hispanic vote to Hillary. There is supposed to be a poll out that says a majority of Hispanic citizens who can vote are in favor of shutting the border down and deporting illegals. I work with a bunch of Hispanics and many of them are Trump supporters. I think they are as fed up with the government as the so called angry white male. They are patriots too that care about the direction this country is headed. And maybe it's just the redneck women I know but they are the staunchest Trump supporters I know.

She will be elected and this country will be done. What it comes down to is the one Supreme Court opening. That one individual will dictate where this country will be for generations to come. I voted for Trump and make no apologies for it. He is rude and crude but his stances on the important issues mirror mine. It is going to take intervention by God Almighty to take this election from the communists/criminals. I pray He is so inclined.

Ruthunter probably knows that unit as well as anyone. And from what I am hearing right now the general hunt guys are having problems finding deer. I have heard of some bucks being taken but the glory days of 42 are long gone.

What do you think about having a 3 point minimum for Mule Deer?
creed replied to Gunit's topic in The Campfire
Point restrictions were tried and dropped. -
Pm me where you have been scouting

You have time. There is a junior camp that has guys more than willing to help. I will shoot you a pm when I get time either this evening or tomorrow. If you don't hear from me shoot one at me. I forget things 😟 Browtine is a very good desert deer hunter. If he gets with you I would listen to him.

Anyone use them to keep batteries charged up? I am thinking of buying one and have no idea what I need.

How do you tell the difference between a junk controller and one that is quality?

I think it's rigged. Madam President. Hate the way it sounds

We are seriously screwed. Regardless of our vote McCain is our senator and Clinton our president. With her Supreme Court nominee and him leading the charge to get it approved the 2nd Amendment as it was written is history. The fecal matter is about to hit the fan

I have a rack on the front of my Honda. A ram bicycle mount works well

Selling my 232xrt. Deck measures 4x7, toilet and shower never used, had a couple of inches added to the rain flap by Phoenix Tent and Awning. Heated mattresses that I never used, 5 gallon water heater, 20 gallon water tank, refrigerator that I have never had on anything but propane, dinette slide out, 2 propane tanks, battery, electric lift, outside shower, awning and leveling jacks. Tires are in decent shape, no known issues other than the carbon monoxide sensor is out. Show signs of normal wear and tear. I have a transferable warranty that is good until June 2018. I have done a lot of hunting with this . It is used but not abused.

Palmer had a defensive lineman on him from the start. He should sit on the bench when they play the Rams. They destroy him nearly everytime they meet. They will get it together before it is too late but I am loving it that the Mighty Cardinals are sitting at the bottom of the heap and the lowlife Rams are on the top.

Anyone else or has my computer gone haywire? I get a message Error 1001 DNS resolution error What happened? You've requested a page on a website (azgfdportal.az.gov) that is on the CloudFlare network. CloudFlare is currently unable to resolve your requested domain (azgfdportal.az.gov). There are two potential causes of this: Most likely: if the owner just signed up for CloudFlare it can take a few minutes for the website's information to be distributed to our global network. Less likely: something is wrong with this site's configuration. Usually this happens when accounts have been signed up with a partner organization (e.g., a hosting provider) and the provider's DNS fails.

I always take a picture of the cams with strings in place before I take it apart. Also have been using a Bow Master press for many years on Hoyt bows without issues. I just bought the split limb adapters for a Bow Medic press. I get just a bit more room to work with than with the Bow Master adapters. Like mentioned above back out the limbs as far as you safely can.

I just finished about 12 days of archery elk hunting. I didn't tag out but had a blast. I could have been done on small bulls several times but chose to pass. I had several observations in the 12 days I spent in the woods chasing bulls. Elk have another face on the back of their head. It didn't seem to matter what direction I came towards an elk he either saw, heard or winded me. There is an elk god that makes the wind always blow in their favor. It will change at the last minute and leave you wondering WTH just happened? I was always behind a bugling bull. They are always going away from you, never to you. I suck at calling. They ran like the devil was chasing them. When I quit calling they ran like the devil was chasing them. They will water at whatever tank I was not sitting on. Everyone but me killed a good bull. I suck at estimating distances. I suck at elk hunting. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat, sore feet, sore shoulders from carrying a heavy pack, thunderstorms, lightning, mosquitoes, getting 5 hours of sleep a night and never getting rested included. I thank my God for the opportunity to be in the woods with His creation and great friends Congrats to all of you that filled your tag. I can't wait to get out there and do it again.

Headed back to 5BS to see if I can't finish this hunt.
-
I just got in from hunting 9 days in 5BS. I have had 6 bulls 42 yards and under that had no clue I was there. They just weren't what I was looking for. I needed a break and the weather gave me an excuse to come home for a couple of days before going back out. Maybe I will be lowering my expectations when I go back and look for freezer material. Bugling was nearly nonexistent where I have been hunting.

I was setting up camp yesterday. Very quiet. I was a bit surprised at the number of people piling up on the 93 road. Looks like it could be a zoo in there opening weekend
-
I am headed up in the morning to set up camp. I was going to wait until Thursday but with this system moving in I am going to get it done while it is somewhat dry. It is an absolute quagmire into my camping spot. Also going to be just a little picky on how small of an elk I shoot. I think I will play it by ear as to how the rut goes. If it looks like a good one I may not lower my standards for a while. If it goes into the last week and things are slow it may become a meat hunt.

It is starting to look like I am going to be solo at least a portion of this coming archery hunt. I have hunted solo much of my life but this is going to be my first elk hunt that I didn't have help. Just curious how many of you are doing it alone this year? I am going to be in an area with zero phone service. That is probably my biggest concern. As clumsy as I am it is not out of the question for me to screw myself up somehow. Thinking of getting my hands on a satellite phone.

I have been through what you are facing twice in the last 6-8 years. At age 55 my wife left, due to various reasons a very successful family farming business shut it doors, my mom died a slow death from cancer, not long afterward my dad died. I stepped out of life to try to figure out what to do, what direction to take. I am at that crossroads again at age 62. I still have my health but know that my time is short. I have life changing decisions to make. This one thing has kept my sanity, my faith in a God that I believe cares. I have stumbled and fallen, questioned, been angry at Him and turned my back only to come back to Him. My faith is the only thing that keeps me going. I must believe because none of it makes any sense without it.

Scouting Help--Any Retired guys with some time available??
creed replied to azbullelkman's topic in Antelope Hunting
I am heading that way this morning to do a final elk scout. The biggest antelope I have ever seen were in the areas I will be in this weekend. If I see anything good I will let you know.
