Thanks everyone for the kind words,and I wanted to pass a little tidbit of info.When I checked my bear in this morning,they said they had a total of 48 checkins by phone..I would have expected that number to be higher.

Just a quick post to let you know I bagged a sow in 24A and it was a blast.I know I cut some peoples hunt short but I need the meat..lol..About a 400 yard shot was perfect from the ole 300 win mag..Hope everyone is enjoying the great weather outdoors!!

I called it in already,and they arent open on the weekends for physical check-in..so no they wouldnt have processed it until tomorrow morning when I take it in..then it should be closed on wednesday..

Yes,I called it in,but Game and Fish isnt open to do the physical check in on weekends anymore..so I have to wait till monday.I was just letting everyone know so they didnt make plans like we did for next weekend..

Thanks everyone,I did have the crosshairs on another bigger bear.That one was being persued by dogs and although a shot presented itself as it was on a cliff,it wasnt the right thing to do.It was neat watching that whole scene play out..I dont believe the dogmen got it though..

The AZGFD still needs to update the hotline,but my buddies were hoping to get out next weekend..

Nope,just jet black...I have always wanted one with a white "V" or spot on the chest though..

Ross Outdoors was burglarized last night and some Hoyt Ignite in color packages as well as some Bowtech Fuel,PSE Stinger X,and my custom Mathews Halon 5 with 80lb Wake limbs..were just some of the bows taken..anybody trying to sell these or trade please keep an eye out and thanks for any information...Nate

between our video footage and the pawn shop they walked into with our bows the same afternoon of the theft- SLAM DUNK..thats all I can talk about the case...

Justice has been served!!! A huge THANK YOU to the Phoenix and Avondale PD for the arrest and conviction of the dirtbags that broke in Ross Outdoors.They are currently in a cell, no longer out on the street.

Anyone who has met me will tell you I am the most immature SOB on this forum and all the groups you mention all hang here...I got the joke it was just a little tacky..if it wasnt at our expense I would have chuckled too..and yes I am ex military and ex construction(mason),used to be a welder on the pipelines...We do appreciate the help though!

Glad the property damage and theft of property entertains you guys....I posted it up to get the word out,not make light of..we were asking the outdoor community to keep an eye out and watch our backs....

We did upgrade our cameras and the police now have the video footage..same crew..we can only hope they try to dump the gear to a informed member of the hunting community...

Congrats to you guys! That just rekindled my affection for the 44 mag,had a few and been debating on getting a nice hunting handgun again..Good shooting.

Was able to get out yesterday for the opener.Took until the early afternoon,but got it done with a 25 yard shot..instant drop..Took this one with the new G5 Prime Rize,what a great shooting bow...Now I just have to fill the rifle javelina tag,then its on to coyotes!

Well it isnt hard to see what I was up to on my birthday! Had a blast and should have had a few more too...oh well more for us later..

And they say the 300 blk doesnt work..seemed to expand just fine with the 110 Barnes TacTx...This was another November buck that I forgot to post..

I love this gun but admittedly I bought it specific for that hunt and I am contemplating selling it,or trading it-with a few hundred handloads (barnes 110)and powder,dies,brass,12 inch keymod rail and Vortex Crossfire II, 3-9 V-Brite scope for 900.00 its a spikes tactical..trade for 300 win mag.. That Grendel has way more horsepower than my 300 blk....
