Rifle I've had 1 cow and two bull tags. Went 3 for 3 with nothing real big to right home about. 2007 I drew my first of three archery bull tags between now and then. Again went 3 for 3 all six point bulls scoring 322, 284, and 307. I've had a hard time passing up 300 inch bulls screaming in my face! Gonna try and hold out for that monster next time around!

That's awful for the victims of that and my heart goes out to there families. Good point though. Pretty sure the vehicle in this case would be the same as a gun in another!

Broken record! Pretty sure you look into any business organization your going to find employees that have broken a law, violated policy or procedure, or any other thing that can be done. Might as well look at Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and California G&F while your at it to see if there just as "crooked" as AZ and NM. We can just make it a southwest region problem! TJ takes the time to come on here and reply to your post about actually getting involved instead your negativity which is starting to become famous takes over and this post is gonna turn into 9 pages of the same group of people going back and forth about the same thing! Conservation is just as much on us as sportsman as it is on government organizations! Get involved, make a difference, educate yourself, and and if we come together as a team things can get better!

520 I understand what your saying and there is probably a lot of truth to it. The only thing I can say back is there has been a lot of turn over in the department and commission over that time. Change doesn't always come fast but if none of us show up there will be a lot decisions made with no input from sportsman whatsoever.

I attended the meeting last week. Just like previously posted there were only five sportsman there that did not represent some type of wildlife organization or foundation. It was my first time attending and I was surprised to learn that the five of us were the highest amount of individual sportsman to attend on of these open forums. For G&F in attendance were four out of the five commissioners for the state along with the majority of there command staff. Like Coueshunter previously stated they covered several different topics. The two hours went by fast and I later spoke with one of the command staff members. He mentioned how important it was for everyday sportsman to attend and how they wanted to move the meeting to more of a Q&A so any and all concerns could be brought up. IMO it was a perfect venue to speak your mind as FOUR out of the five commissioners were in attendance. This was my first time attending and I see the importance for us as sportsman to attend these meetings. We can complain all we want over the internet but until we as sportsman come together to voice real concerns in front of these individuals nothing will change. Regan

My great Aunt who is getting close to her 70's helped mentor me in hunting when I first started! She is shy a mountain lion from having her big 10 or is it 11 now. In her day she out hunted most of the men in our family!

Game and fish officer get paid squat for the amount of education that is required! Just like any other place of employment you must be competitive in pay to get good employees. Game and Fish are handicapped with this big time. Also who are we to judge someone who has put 20 plus years into a career on what type of retirement the should get to support themselves for the remainder of there life. When it comes down to it in every job your going to have good employees and bad ones. Just like anything other product, over time there are going to be pay increases. We're lucky it doesn't cost more. If officer are wanting to write citations there is an easy to combat this, don't break the law! I guess my question is what are you hopping to accomplish? Get rid of retirement of all former game and fish officers? Tell them they are not allowed to by new equipment? Tell them that ongoing training for employees aren't necessary? What's your goal with a boycott or anything else. Regan
