Regardless if it was right or wrong 1) Governors dont have legal authority to make laws on a whim. certainly have no authority to make “laws” that shut down entire industries over night and assess fines and jail time for not being in your home. The legislative branch makes law, not the executive branch 2) my rights dont end when you get a runny nose 3) there will be a lot of civil suits against the states for unlawfully shutting down private business without going through the legislative process

The stimulus package gives 20% more for CODIV-19 if the patient is on medicare and needs a ventilator. If they died, they almost surely needed a ventilator at some point. The coronavirus relief legislation created a 20% premium, or add-on, for COVID-19 Medicare patients. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2020/04/24/fact-check-medicare-hospitals-paid-more-covid-19-patients-coronavirus/3000638001/

half of those deaths are in 3 areas. New York, New Jersey and New Orleans. Why are the rest of us subject to economic disaster? And the whole "vietnam war" comparison liberals have been parroting the last few days is BS. the VAST majority of those COVID deaths are old people, many in nursing homes or those with other problems that weaken the immune system. War deaths almost all healthy, young men in a very dangerous situation, but able to defend themselves with deadly force. less than 1% of the world population has been infected. Most have no symptoms. Most get over it. Some don't. We have lost 27 million US jobs so far. 1 million have have been infected. 150,000 per people die around the world, on average, everyday. For a myriad of reasons. We don't stop the world. Everyone will die. Death is undefeated (well...there is Keith Richards...but still) FYI - not one politician has missed a SINGLE paycheck this year. That's why they don't care how long its locked down. If their pay was being stopped, it would be open tomorrow.

I just don't see the logic of locking 6-12 people into one house (which is common on reservations) when they could be outdoors and spread out. I can see keeping people from outside the RES out. Maybe thats what they have done? Can the residents of the RES still go to the river. lakes etc?
-
why the F would you close a river when you are trying to get people to spread out?

Bucket List: Caribou
JSR replied to Western Hunter's topic in Western Hunter and Elk Hunter Magazine
Black Bear and Sitka Blacktail are doable Biggest expense is probably airfare and bush pilots I know a guy that saved for almost a decade to go on a Caribou hunt. Booked a 10 day hunt and it was over in 2 days. They flew around until they found a big herd. Determined their direction, flew head a few miles, waited the mandatory 24 hours, killed a big bull and came home. -

The virus will pass but the Government will never forget how easy it was to take control of every portion of your life.

The Trump administration plans to open 2.3 million acres of land for hunting and fishing at more than 100 national wildlife refuges and fish hatcheries under a proposal unveiled Wednesday that is aimed at giving Americans more recreational access on public lands. https://www.foxnews.com/great-outdoors/trump-administration-wildlife-refuge-hunting-fishing-access-plan

My buddy caught 30 last weekend on the Tonto Arm

Yes, it is 100% on the person(s) that decided to ignore the warnings and the barricades but hasn't the family lost enough without having to drag them through this? My guess is the county is charging them and will offer a plea that includes agreeing not to sue.

A bunch of degenerate, sicko, perverted, freaks

The tag holder is ultimately responsible for knowing the law.

Curious if the hunter was charged with any crimes?

He can always go back to stealing trail cams and selling them on Ebay.

stop relying on the govt, especially the FED govt. They use these events to enlarge their power and lure in the sheeple to their "social programs".

Went out in the desert today for some fresh air. It looked like a white trash ghetto with trailers, tents, 5th wheel Campers etc EVERYWHERE. A LOT OF CAMP SITES WITH 6-8 trailers and tents. I understand why, but I guess some people just dont get the concept of distancing.

They are saying that this virus will slow down considerably once the weather warms up. That will be May or June in the north in April here. Hope they are right, we had 6 construction projects cancel this week alone.

covid-19 poll-numbers of confirmed statewide infections by 08/01/2020
JSR replied to biglakejake's topic in The Campfire
They love to tell us how many have tested positive but trying to find the number of people that have recovered is almost impossible. Death, fear and chaos are great click bait ............ but keep stocking up on TP and hand sanitizer, sheeple.
