That's right down to the wire, very nice.

I killed a nice mule deer, and a pig there a couple of years ago with my bow. There is only one main road in there after you go about 2 miles in and then there is a wilderness on your left with no roads.Park on the road, and walk, you won't have a problem with other hunters.Glass, and you will find those pigs.Good Luck

That's the reason to go to Mexico, very nice buck.

Nice Bucks,where were you hunting?
-
Beautiful Ram,congrats to everyone involved.

aRT,You don't need to worry about el gato going extinct as my cousins hunters have been harvesting 25-30 lions every year since 1967 in central New Mexico[Magdelina]with no shortage in sight.

Troy,Did you kill your ram on the east side of the Mowhawks [Luke AFB side]?If 40B was your unit it came down to the sheep that you shot, which was a wide flaring ram, or the one that I killed last year. There were 6 rams together, but the choice came down to one of these two.I didn't realize all of this until talking to one of my friends that was there.Hunterdan told me to look at the picture of you high fiveing at the back of the pickup. It's the same ridge system that I killed my sheep on!!!!Congrats on a great sheep-you are one lucky boy,as I had put in for sheep almost 3 times as many as you are old!!!!Very nice,Cliff

Great pictures, and now we are waiting for the writeup. -
Sheep hunting is so special, and when you have the respect, and courtesy of the other hunter in the unit it makes for an awesome hunt.I can speak from experience,as I had the hunt of a lifetime in 40B last year with Brian Johnson.Congrats on a very nice ram.

While driving up to check my trail cams, for the 6th time this morning, in preparation for my archery bull hunt, I was thinking how lucky we are to have this website.I don't know where to start, but for instance, when the wallow fire was going on, all we had to do was click, and Bill would tell you about Greer.Same thing down in unit 29,we could get updates that were happening that day.We have members that are current with Mexico, to Alaska, to back east.If a newbie comes in, and needs help, all they have to do is ask.Pretty awesome,a member might get a nasty gram, but that is because we are family, and that happens in families. We are not braggin when we show our pictures,we are proud of our accomplishments. We are good hunters, that try, whether it is a book head,or a rabbit with a bow.I appreciate you for letting me carry on,but more,I thank Amanda for having this site, and the members for making it what it is.

Nice buck,thanks for sharing

A year is about right with a tanned hide.I have heard of turnaround time of a month, but you don't want that because the hide is pickled-not tanned, and will not last.
-
Nice buck,was he setting water,or spot,and stalk?
-
Nice photos,thanks for showing.
