I totally agree with Casey,this is just the tip of the iceberg.I don't bait myself,but I can if I see fit.I have cattle,but I don't set the salt that I have put out for them.I don't have a problem with baiting,any more than using dogs to hunt.I don't get it,I guess we just live too close to California!!!!

A 243 is all I shot for years.I killed a 365 bull in 1967,lots of deer-coues and mulies,bears,pigs.One year my dad killed 9 buffalo with 10 shots after hunters had shot them.All of these animals were shot with 100 gr.Hornadys.I wouldn't worry about killing a deer with it,it will work.

Kidso is right on track,called my first bear in on San Carlos in 1976.The foxes there will keep you plenty alert.They have scared me so bad,when calling by mysef,I didn,t know if I had a rifle or a stick setting on my lap.Also remember,it's the quanity of sound, not quality.Call as much as you can.

There will be some G&F people have some input on this.I think I will wait and see what they have to offer.

I first read Capsticks books,Death in the long grass,Death in silent places,about 25 years ago.It was the kind of reading that you couldn't put down,very talented author.

This is about the strangest post I have ever seen on this website.M77-if you think the website was getting boring,why do you take it upon yourself to stir it up?

Shrink wrap that trucking companies use to secure loads on pallets works great when stuffed into boxes for field points.We used to throw tons of it away at the post office after it had been used to secure the magazines on pallets.
