MAGPUL INDUSTRIES leaving Colorado!!!
sjvcon replied to CWpredator's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Sure he does. Those are "his boys". This guy is a joke. He has been emboldened by the fact that he NO LONGER ANSWERS TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. The worst is coming. Just give it a little time. Israel will be beseiged and this clown will have supplied the firepower. -
Amen ... just bought my fourth Sig in 3 months.

Olympic Arms tells NY to shove it !

I think you got that right Coach. -
Classic. How ever much fuel one paycheck would buy!! In DC that's probably not enough to fill my Dodge....
-
Ain't that the truth. All the pro-gun control Dems are probably snatching them up since any new laws they screw us with won't apply to the anyway.
-
I have used Winchester Supreme Elite with the XP3 Bullets. They shoot great. XP3's perform well in penetration and retained mass tests.

Feinstein and Boxer need to move back to Mars ... they are WAAAAAAY out there.

The media in this Country SUCKS ... too bad we can't figure out a way to IMPEACH THEM. Journalism is a sham, and the media is just a BS PR arm for the Liberal Left. Hollywood too ... bunch of Left Wing folks with some acting talent or looks (though rarely both) and not a whole lot of real education (because they never needed it) trying to act educated and superior to the "little people" who misguidedly pay their way in life. "Oh ... but they read a lot, so they are really well informed." Yeah ... right ... and what is it they are reading ... all BS stuff put out by the left. Hey Sean Penn ... when I want your opinion, I'll ask you for it. Hold your breath until then.

Great story Kirk and Fred. Nice to know that there are still folks out there that work off of trust.

I have had a couple of guns Cerakoted. Best test will be the .44 Redhawk I just had done, as it had holster wear big time. It is supposed to be a VERY durable finish. I use a guy named Tim Boehler in Peoria ... www.acoating.com . There is another guy I have heard some good things about ... Arizona Response Systems. He uses a different finish called Metacol. I believe he is in Surprise and is a certified refinisher for HK. I know ... I know ... not East Valley. There are others to be sure. Lots of people like Robar's NP3 and other coatings. That is certainly a good finish.

Don't Lie for the Other Guy

Yeah...and believe me, he doesn't care about guns ... he cares about CONTROL. Subjugation of the masses. -
That is classic ...

"Too many children" are dying Ms. Giffords??? I'd have to check the statistic on how many kids die each year from gun violence, but I doubt the number is a substantial percentage of the gun deaths each year. As opposed to Abortions, which YOU Ms. Giffords support. Let's take out everything but late term abortions (call it after 21 weeks ... just for argument's sake, though I believe that life starts at conception), and you are still talking about over 18,000 childred PER YEAR. Call half of those for the "health of the Mother" ... still over 9,000. Now that is what I would call "TOO MANY CHILDREN" dying Ma'am. I'll get off my soap box now. And if you want to attack me because you think I am attacking Ms. Giffords, I AM NOT. What I am doing is pointing out the ludicrous double standards that the Dems, including Ms. Giffords (who has no doubt been "guided" into this) use when making their arguments. I feel sorry for what happened to Ms. Giffords, but put that aside ... the gun argument from the left is FLAT WRONG, and nothing but an attempt to CONTROL FREE MEN (and Women ... using Men to refer to all human beings).

You mean someone broke the guns laws in Chicago. You mean the LAW does not prevent CRIME? Just prevents the lawful from defending themselves. Shooting in Phoenix today ... gal in my office says "See ... another shooting." She knows I am a 2nd Amendment Advocate. People really are THAT STUPID folks. And she's former Military. Starting to see your point about a Conspiracy Snapshot. Wonder how many other shootings will take place today while the Senate has its witch hunt ... I mean "hearings".

We gave all of those away when we took prayer out of schools and God out of our daily lives. Odummer says we are "not a Christian Nation" anymore ... he's right insofar as, in its current state, Government promotes itself as God and looks to no higher power for it's rule or decree.

Yep. I read that post prior and agree. This country is headed into one of the darkest times in our history. Yes ... slavery was a dark time, and the darkest time we have faced to date. It was an uneducated time. An unfair time. Yes ... the treatment of many minorities has been abhorent at times ... by the uneducated, the small minded, the self-stated "superiors". Sad times to be sure ... and thankfully (for the most part in civilized America) behind us. BUT THIS IS NO DIFFERENT. The American population at large is headed into a type of "slavery". We will be slaves to the Government Machine ... slaves to their edicts. They are now the self-stated "superiors". They know better than we do what is good for us. What we should eat, what we should weigh, what we should do, what we should not do ... and when we have outlived our usefulness, and when we should DIE (OBAMAFRAUD/CARE Death Panels ... yes they exist). If you are someone who doesn't believe that is the case, keep voting in the incumbents and wait to see what happens. I promise to say "I TOLD YOU SO". Me ... I won't vote for an incumbent unless it means vote for an incumbent R vs a leftest Dem. I haven't voted for an incumbent R in a Primary in years. I am not sure how to fix the problem. Maybe it lies with State Legislatures passing laws limiting who can and cannot appear on ballots. If the State of Arizona determined you could not run for election on the ballots if you have already served a certain number of Federal Terms, how could the Feds stop you??? But you'd have to get all of the other States to adopt similar laws ... which could be next to impossible. Just an idea. Smarter people than me may have better ideas, but we certainly can't count on Congress to enact a 28th Amendment that includes Term Limitations. There are already movements to enact one getting rid of King Odummer's limits. If that happens, the slope just becomes slicker and we head into the dungheap faster.

What else is new 'Bull. All of the laws passed by those crooked b'tards exempts them. Look at ObamaFraud (Care). Amendment 28 will never get passed, because they are all self serving, greed motivated pr_cks. "Congress shall pass no law for which it's members are exempt." Think ANY of them would do that? Maybe Paul Gosar or someone like him. That type would, because they are not reliant on the Government to provide their livelihood forever. They have had, and can have, private sector employment. Think Feinstein, Pelosi, Reid (and I would say Kerry ... but he got ANOTHER Government job) would vote for that. Not a chance in heck. We ... the public ... have the only power to fire them. Problem is that in their Districts, the public is too stupid to realize they are being screwed. That is the problem all around. Me ... when McCain was up I voted a write in. Knew he had slim or no chance, but didn't want a lifer back in office if it was because of my one vote. With Flake, I had little choice. The perception was that Odummer's boy Carmona was cutting it close. No way I was giving Odummer another seat at the Senate Table. We'd do well to fire the incumbents everywhere and somehow make it a rule that you can't run if you don't already have a JOB that isn't somehow involved with the corrupt Government.

Unfortunately, I don't think anyone was going to beat Odummer in '08. Bush 43 had screwed things up in many ways during his Second Term. He became Progressive with his Medicare Reforms and he let the situations with the Banks dictate a HUGE recovery package. Both of these things added HUGE to the Budget Deficit and cost our kids a part of their future. He also mishandled the issues of immigration and both wars ... in both cases he took his eye off the ball and they got out of control. Probably the most damaging thing is that he DID NOT FIGHT BACK using his position and media exposure with S-BAGS like Reid, Pelosi, Odummer and H. ROTTEN Clinton pointed all the blame at him. In some cases ... Pelosi to be certain ... you could have levied charges of Sedition. No one the Republicans put up in '08 was going to win. How Odummer got his nod is dumbfounding ... but McCain was a sacraficial lamb from the start. And he knew it. He didn't want the job of President ... why else would he choose Palin when there were so many more well qualified VP Candidates? The tragedy is after 4 years of Chicago Politics, we had less Republicans show up for 2012 than in 2008. FOR A BETTER CANDIDATE. Sure, Romney had some warts ... just like any other candidate. There is NO perfect candidiate. But this country needed a level headed business mind trying to get it back on track. Instead, we have a corrupt, Socialist, Ultra Left Wing Community Organizer ... a man whose NEVER HAD REAL EMPLOYMENT ... running us deeper into the ground. This country is becoming something other than what I grew up in, and definitely other than what the Founders intended it to be. I'll argue until my dying breath that our foundations are strong. It's what the Goverment has grown into that has made our coutry weak. Its the power held by the Central Bank. Its the power exerted by the huge conglomerates on politicians. Its the Lobby Groups representing big money interests, wacko environmental interests, and yes ... foreign governments in pushing laws that favor them and their interests. Those are the things that have corrupted the system. The foundation is still good ... the rest of it ... well ... it has TERMITES ... of the bueraucrat and politician variety.

It can be shipped to an FFL. PM me for details. It is in good condition, and I have a little wiggle room.

McCain is NOT a Conservative. Never was. There are a lot of "Progressive" Republicans ... what the Media likes to call Rhinos. Remember back in 2004, when there were rumors this great "Republican" was going to be John Kerry's Running Mate. I've disliked the man ever since. Yes ... I voted for him in 2008 ... I had no other choice at that time. Even though I have not been pleased with the guy's Senate voting record, who he's sponsored Bills with (Drunk, Murdering Dirtbag Kennedy), what he's stood for ... but at least I guess I went out and voted. Rather have voted for someone who had a Conservative Mindset ... but it was either the Rhino or the Chicago Dirtbag ... and the Dirtbag won.

Wished I could help you out, but I ditched my one piece Talley Rings from my M70, as I found that the rear scope ring had sheared on one side near the base. Seems they could not stand up to a .300 RUM on my Winchester. Rifle was never dropped, misused or mishandled in any way. Maybe I just got the bad set, but I was not going to repeat, so went with Warne Steel Rings instead.

Don't scope it. Great gun for an area where open sites and quick shots are the primary means of hunting.

Mixed feelings on this. Making sure they are dead is ethically responsible. Defintely see the "pestilence" point though. They are destroying both the natural habitat and also the agricultural habitat. I support getting rid of as many as possible, and I'd sure hunt them in a heartbeat. Oddly, they have not become more of an issue in Arizona. We have them, to be sure, but not like in other states. Not sure why that is, but I'm glad we don't.
