Let em grow another year.

Not huge, but big enough.

This guy is a joke. New York is a joke. If we aren't careful, pretty soon this whole country will be a joke, because nobody will stop the "Demander and Thief" and those like him. They just keep destroying whatever they touch, and the idiot "Conservatives" in Congress do nothing ... at least most of them.

What is this CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Juror B29 now says Zimmerman "got away with murder", but says that they couldn't convict him of murder because the evidence didn't support it???? What kind of a dumb idiot is this woman. Is she just trying to "save face" in light of the fact that she's a minority??? I've had it with idiocy ... I think they should institute a policy ... you have to take a test to vote ... we'll never save this country with idiots like this voting. If the evidence doesn't support it honey, ITS NOT MURDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The guy was having the life beat out of him ... what was he supposed to do ... let himself get killed. YES ... HE SHOULD HAVE STAYED IN THE CAR, but the kid was assaulting him. GOOD LORD SAVE US FROM THE IDIOTS ... THEY ARE OVERRUNNING EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You really think the Leupold is better? I'm not so sure. Maybe tube construction and dials are better? I like my Vortex glass better than what is on my Leupold's ... VXIII's. Don't think I can say that I like Vortex glass better than Zeiss, which I have, but it isn't far off. Same with Sightron ... I think that scope is a little brighter, but it cost $400 more ... if I had it to do over again I'd have done a Vortex on that rifle too ... if nothing else for the warranty.
-
I think part of it depends on the time of year to some degree.
-
Vortex. I own both, and like the vortex better. Plus, you can't beat the no fault warranty.

Howa makes a nice rifle from all that I've read.

Google Earth was a great tool for me on my Strip Hunt. Found some tanks I'd have never otherwise found.

Well, the IBO is 350. My DL is 28", so I'll lose some speed there, but bumping to 80 should help a bit. Going to try to shoot as close to 400 grains as I can ... maybe 425 or so. Maybe I can get 320 or so??? That is quite a bit more than what I am getting now, and should keep me pretty flat out to 40 or so.

Red Mountain freeway west bound Wednesday morning.

80# shouldn't be that bad. I still pull a 65# recurve pretty easy, and my Mathews tops at 74#, which is a breeze to draw. Just looking for some more speed.

6.5x284 and 308 win total revamp
sjvcon replied to 308Nut's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Those are beautiful rifles. -
Well ... if you don't want to go with a 30 MOA Base, you might have to look at the Burris Signature Rings that have offset inserts. You could get another 10 MOA out of that. I don't know that the standard Viper has great adjustability to begin with. I know the PST and Viper HS LR have 75MOA, but I don't think the standard one is really meant to have as much adjustability. On my longest range rig I went with a 20 MOA rail and a Scope with 100MOA total adjustment.

Custom .264 Win. Mag. Questions

I guess I'm nuts ... I'm trying for one of everything. -
Saw her on the way home last night too. That 202 Red Mountain is a blessing!!!

Little slice of Heaven ....

Just ordered my Knightmare. 80#'er. Hoping it is as fast and smooth as they say it will be.

I have personally seen a buck that went 190"+ in there while scouting for another hunt. Wide and tall with trash. I also know of a guy that took a measured 186" buck out of there 3 years back ... shot with a rifle on the first rifle hunt not long after another buddy missed shots at the same buck twice with a bow. Great unit. Might archery hunt it this year if I don't head to 6A.

Looks like my Oldest Son (13) and my Dad (or Youngest Son depending on my Dad's foot) will be hunting 3A/3C at the end of October and beginning of November. I have seen a lot of good photos of bucks in the last few years, and we saw quite a few healthy gents while on our elk hunt last year. Hope that we can find a couple of nice ones. One thing is for sure ... during scouting this year I'll be bringing a bunch of yard bags and some trash poles ... we picked up so much trash on those roads in 3C last year it was ridiculous.

Just be careful. Buddy of mine bought some off CL and took to Outdoorsman to send in for a minor repair. Two days later the PoPo showed up asking where he got the stolen glass from.

I certainly think Moe could do a better job running this country ... and all of the Stooges have more class than these MORONS. Honestly, as bad as those three are, the Media is worse. All they are running is CRAP. Some of the Channels should have their plugs pulled.
