Got this with the house. Interior Temps were colder than shown on the door so I kept freezing the veges, which was a pain in the butt. Had another available AND a garage fridge, so this one is going. Water and Ice Dispenser. $300 obo...or trades Would make a great Man Cave Fridge.

We just did one on a Tikka. Proof Prefit we had Todd South install for us. Thing is an absolute tack driver. My son is hitting a 10" gong at 1000 yds. Just shot his 1st Bull at 628...double lunger. Didn't go 10ft........great round.

I am on the West Side. Suprise/Wittmann area.

Tikka actions are 1 length. Change the bolt stop and magazine and it goes from Short to Long. My understanding is that you can't build a super long COAL like a 300RUM without making it a single round feed, but anything that fits a Std Long Action should work as a Magazine Fed Rifle.

Thanks all. He found someone. Appreciate all.

My dad is going to do the backing plate, but my son just got his first bull and is looking at someone local to Boil/Clean/Whiten the skull and do a good job on it so it lasts. Any recommendations? Grand Canyon's Euro guy quit so they are not doing those now...he was the first option. Thanks in advance.

Used on 2 hunts. Perfect condition. Liked the additional pouches on the Alaskan Guide. $80.

What rifle/caliber are you looking for?

A good stock probably doesn't need bedding, though it is a comfort to most people to know they did everything they could to make their rifle as accurate as possible. I hear McMillan now tells people NOT to bed their stocks ... if I recall correctly. But if you do bed it, I'd pillar it as well. Bedding without pillaring never made a whole lot of sense to me.

Best unit for Coues deer hunt in Arizona?
sjvcon replied to geniejeniffer's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Your best bet is not to ask everyone for what unit is best. You best bet is the use the AZGFD as a resource and read the unit reports. There are Coues in a lot of units around the state. Some units have a high population, some low. Big bucks will be elusive as heck for a newbie. Best advice is review the game reports and get REALLY GOOD glass and get REALLY COMFORTABLE glassing. -
Thanks Gents. Bought a .357 from him years ago. I'll hit him up.
