Any trade offers? Open to Optics, Firearms, other Hunting Gear, Etc. Seldom ... still considering that offer. I will let you know.

Have the same bow as my backup ... probably still the best bow I have ever owned.

Great looking dog.

So in response to some questions sent by PM ... it is internal frame, has separate floor, and there is also a rain fly.

Don't have pictures of the tent set up. Might try to set it up this weekend. I have a photo from the Montana Website I will try to post in the meantime. Seldom Drawn ... I will consider that. Bit less than I had anticipated.

Also.... not asking $2k....just saying that is what they paid. Open to offers...even trades.

bear hunting dangerous?

True...most bears don't want any part of a hunter...but I give them their due. Even a smaller bear is capable of delivering some major damage if pressed. I don't get scared if I see a bear...its pretty cool. But I don't try to agitate them...... -
So if durability of the axles is key, you can leave out Chevy and GMC as they are not Solid Front Axle.

Good GOD that is a STUD BULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At that close a range it took some BIG STONES to stay calm and not bolt!!!

Hey ... I'm not complaining about the number of tags being too low, and I haven't drawn in 15 years. But when I do go ... I want an opportunity at a nice bull ... not a raghorn. But I get the argument some people are making that there are a lot of people wanting success in the draw so G&F has raised the tag #'s. It's a tough situation ...

Need opinions on a new sidearm

Jim Neff ... Generations Firearms. He has a website and teaches out of Rio Salado. -
Kind of depends on if you want smooth ride or offroad durability. You'll never bteak a solid axle under normal use (or rarely)....but it'll rattle the crap out of you.

Well I'd say that is a dog being a dog ... go in a nice quiet room and KICK YOURSELF HARD IN THE NUTS for being a bonehead!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I have the Knightmare ... awesome bows.

Guy I know owns a huge spread in Montana. He has said that the sound of gunfire is a dinner bell for the bears that have been around it enough. They hear the shot and investigate. When he hunts, he always has other people with him ready to deal with any aggressively curious bears.

do you mean cougar? Uh ... that ain't a Cougar ... the requirement is that they were hot when they were young. Sorry ... couldn't resist.

For whatever reason, there aren't the high numbers in this State like there are in Texas, Alabama, etc. Thank God!!!

That, my friend, is what hunting is all about. The racks will come, but the time spent on the hunt with family and friends is the real reward. Glad you got to have the experience!!!

That looks like a blast. Easier to take a flask full of the warm stuff than a six pack ... a lot lighter.

Good God that thing is HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too bad. Great animal. About 15 years ago, on a trip scouting elk, a buddy of mine saw a lion pounce a big buck like that. He had followed the buck the night before and watched it bed. Went back before light to see if it was still there only to see a lion stalking in on it ... would have been pretty cool to see that. We hunted the unit two weeks later and found the kill right where he said it would be. HUGE buck.

Yup ... they will feed there in the AM and PM and they will take refuge during the day. I like to find good places to watch the fringes ... areas where deer can take quick cover from the open.

And???????????????????
