6.5-06 AI or .280 AI? What would YOU build?

Can't go wrong with either...coin flip. -
Winchester Model 70 Stainless Classic BOSS / Synthetic Stock. I am not hot to get rid of it ... I like it. But I'd entertain the thought I guess.

I have a Winchester Model 70 Classic Compact. Classic Action with Mauser Extractor. Featherweight type stock. Has a Weaver 3x9 on it. Good shooter. Comes with a Lucas Bore Guide for cleaning. Was my youngest son's starter when he was 10. PM me if interested.

+1...Obsession is unreal speed and smoothness combo

Cycle training. We used to do that between heavy and light days back when I was training for bench/squat/deadlift competition. It insured building both fast and slow twitch muscle. HIIT has been around for a lot of years, and is proven to build muscle and burn fat.

Venison Chilli mixed with Chickpea/Lentil Pasta. High protein, low fat and low carb.

The insulin spike i guess. yeah I don't know, I usually just drink beer after the games myself ??? As my buddy Arnold used to say..."Beer is Milk for Men." BioChem is decent tasting, and most importantly has no added sugar. Sugar = Bad. Sucralose/Asparteme = Bad. After workout Chocolate Milk ... I think maybe just the Milk ... or a Guiness.

Free...never used Oster Jerky Press and Seasonings. I like cut strips...call me old time. PM me and its yours. I'm in the East Valley and work in Phx.

Did you have it designed, or was it a "I think maybe this is good enough" type of project? There are some pretty good tables with snow loads available online that can help with projects like that when an engineer is not involved. I used to do NDS Wood Design Calcs a million years ago...not sure I'd be able now, but if touhave any questions let me know. Have a lot of engineers I can poke for the fun of it.

And this is a "Uuge" part of the problem........

Don't forget Obama and Kerry and their Quarter Billion straight to Hamas a mere 2 hours before being shown the door. Sneaky, unscrupulous b-tUrds.

Just another dipstick "news reporter" distorting the facts to suit their goal of makimg Trump look bad. Pictures I have seen are no barrier to entry...no more so than a cattle fence.

Isn't that 300 rum a little much for your fragile frame? Yeah...I probably need to get back on the supplements!!

Guess it's time to BULK UP.

Generally shooting Barnes TTSX 180's in the RUM and Nosler ETip 150's in the 7. I'll have to go back and check Velocities but I want to say 3200 and just over 3K respectively. I shoot them both pretty well...almost the same gun really

Boots All Size 13 Carhartt, Rocky, Combat & More
sjvcon replied to Deserttrecker's topic in Classified Ads
Tell you what ... if he does he's hosed. I have to order most of mine online because the stores don't carry 14's and 15's very much. Then you can't try them out in the store and you end up playing back and forth with shipping to get something you like. Not to mention that buying socks SUCKS...................... -

Ok ... so I've got a 7 Rem Mag and a 300 RUM and feel like I don't need both. I was thinking to keep one a make a 28 Nosler, but that sounds like it might just be a waste of money. So if you had those two, which would you keep? 7 Rem Mag for better bullet characteristics, or 300 RUM for speed and flatness of trajectory???

American Rifle Company -- Mausingfield Action
sjvcon posted a topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Has anyone built on this platform? Receiver like a 700, extractor like a Mauser and ejector like a Springfield. Looks like a heck of a platform if it works right. Would solve my issue of Winchester having less options for aftermarket parts. -

Sold both ways. Also has integral 20 or 30 moa rail. -
So somebody clue me in. If the Nosler's are basically shortened versions of the RUM (and maybe I don't have that right), what would be the reason to go with those over a RUM? Nosler is loading their stuff faster than the RUM's in their product line, but using less powder maybe? So is barrel life the chief driver? Is there really much difference in barrel life between a 28 Nosler and a 7MM RUM? Or a 30 Nosler and a .300 RUM? Just curious ... someone knows a heck of a lot more than me and can explain the why's I am sure. Just curious. Was thinking of doing something custom and maybe going with a custom action vs working over a M70 Win Classic. Thoughts?

Triggers are certainly about feel, so go with the feel. As far as Customer Service goes, I've never had a bad experience with Timney ... even on a trigger of theirs that was 20+ years old and installed on a rifle I didn't own when the trigger was installed. I said "can I buy one of these" and the guy said "no ... but you can have one. If it's ours, we cover it ... period." From that moment on I was sold.

I have to look, but I am in the same boat with either 17 or 18 points. I figure one more year on the Early Rifle and then I am doing the Archery bit.
