It's a nice rifle. Seen a couple trips to the field, but in very good condition. My son built a 7PRC...only reason we are parting with it...just sits in the safe now. I'll throw in 26 rounds of Barnes 140 TSX and a Lucas Bore Guide for a full price sale.

Yes...I prefer not to ship it and want to make sure I sell "legally"...just to be on the up and up as it were.

Straight or pistol grip? -
Anyone else having issues with their NX8s? Both my buddy and I got one that had issues. Rifles wouldn't group. Bith cases a scope swap turned a 1.5-2" group at 100yds into a half inch or smaller group. My Smith also had an issue with an NX8. Just wondering if they had a bad run there or something. They are bring super responsive, so that's not an issue at all. I have another that is rock solid, and I know the reputation is rock solid.

Vouple of my buddies and I are getting more interested in the long range game. We were looking at the Revic and Sig Kilo8K Range Finders, which seem to give loads of pertinent ballistic information...but it seems the Kestrel does the same and also measures wind and other factors. Also saves more cartidge profiles. Is it better to pair a Kestrel with a less involved Range Finder, or go nuts on the Range Finder features?? Sorry if it's a dumb question...relatively new to this. We are also looking gor revommendations on good shooting schools so we can learn from the best. Not approaching this without getting educated.

Have a Fierce CT Edge. 6.5 Creedmoor. Put a Nightforce NX8 on it...proper break in and cleaning. Once it was broke in it shot several factory loads sub half-moa. I was very pleased. Needed the scooe on a backup elk rifle last year, so pulled it and ended up liking it on that rifle. Bought another...same scope but used for the Fierce. Mounted and shot...no longer liked several of the loads it did prior. Did okay with a couple Berger loads at 100yds...but never like before at 200. Always opened up some. Took everything apart (e@cept pulling barrell) and built it all back up...everything tighened to specs and licktighted. Even lightened the trigger. Went out today and it was terrible ... just as bad as the last range trip. I am thinking it's the scope. If I said I shot groups the size of a half dollar at 200 with the 1st scope I am not lying. Befire I pull the scope and try another I figured I'd get opinions.

Opinions -- Rifle stopped grouping

Well it was the scope. Thanks for all the input. Put another scope on and shot 3/4" group at 200. Nightforce said they will gix the scope for free. I'm ecstatic! -
I own one of their Canadian produced rifles. Shoots like a laser. My buddy has one of their newer rifles. Had a trigger issue. He had a hunt coming quickly. They asked if he knew someone could install a trigger. He did (me). They shipped him a new one overnight.

Loved my P01. Wish I kept it.

Does Mutnt work with Gen 2 NLs?

That answers the question, thanks! The newer style has the improved transfer bar from my understanding ... as to whether it is really an improvement or not??? It basically makes it "safer" to carry with the hammer down on a loaded chamber in the cylinder.

New or old style?
