I'd probably go with Comp Cams or Cloyes Double Roller with adjustable timing. Plenty of good info sites on that engine. TMeyer makes great parts fod upgrade including some fixes for low oil pressure.

You won't wake up that engine without a cam and timing set that doesn't retard cam timing. That will be night and day.
