That statement wouldn't apply to a department that enforces the laws of the state. The law is very clear! If you want to go a step further the definition of burglary can be stretched way out of proportion. Are you stating this with experience from a law enforcement perspective? I think that condoning this publicly puts a bad face on us (sportsmen) and cant beleive that we would post we think this is the right way to handle it. And trying to put a $ amount on what morals will be enforced is weak. Apparently there are many factors here that we, or at least I, never realized. I am grateful for the thread to learn the correct process and situations it might be locked. But being in law enforcement you certainly arent saying if it its not enforced it ok, are you?

Ignorant seems a little harsh. Was it me I would have thought quail hunters and waved as I went by. I wouldnt stop unless it became obvious they wanted to talk (I talk to people all day and dont want to when I'm out). And because I dont duck hunt it would have never crossed my mind. Sounds like it was just a lack of knowing what your intensions were, but not his fault. And a tank by a road is just an incident waiting to happen no matter what your hunting. Just my view.

Very similar to many deer hunts in the US! Makes you love Arizona even more.

Blah blah blah, I am in agreement about posting because it at least makes people aware there are pictures being taken and maybe it will slow them down. And there is some satisfaction for all of us who have had something stollen. Obviously we can never outsmart someone as smart as Beersnagger with our replies, and the names...ouch. Thanks for posting. I am as tired as anyone with the constant stealing. And more tired of the excuses. "I have known this guy for 20 years and he was just moving the salt before the rain got there". It happens and there is proof. All the defense attorneys on here can try to talk it away (your salt was by his and its HIS spot for 10 years now, you shouldnt bait, he had bland soup at camp). Everyone will see what they want to see, and I see shenanigans. Worthy of police action, salt no, quad possibly off road yes. But nice to scare people straight with eyes everywhere. 20B was the same. Except waterholes were dry, not one I found had water. Areas normally good were not. I must have been in a different drainage than they were. Didnt hear one single shot! Now that is odd.

Payson area seems lower thanusual. Just the two that followed me turkey hunting. They almost got the turkey load.
