I found a 6pt. shed from a mulie in Tucson mtn park while hunting this weekend. Hopefully I'll be able to find the deer that dropped it. Most all of my sheds except for one are all left side I guess they hind the right side one better.

There is only one taxidermist in Casa Grande and I have one hide tanned by him and I would not recommend him for anyone. I thought I would try something simple and see what kind of work he would turn out and the hide was butched up, it started out at approximately 4x6 and when I got it back it is about 2 1/2 x 4, my elk hide didn't shrink but he says deer hides shrink up when tanned. It took him 11 months and 3 weeks to get it done and other people have taken stuff to him and can not get him to call them back to let them know if it is dtill there or if it's even done. My hide was skinned out with the legs, neck and tail and now it is dang near rectangler with no legs, neck or tail. The name is " Desert dreams " .

I've had Weller's do some stuff for me and I was very pleased they are a family run outfit and show a lot of pride in their work. They told me if I ever had any problems with any mounts to give them a call and the would help out. I'm going to have to say my business is going to them!

Hey happy bday Josh. Mine was on the 26th. I saw a huge mulies last week, he'd score 180+, his rack has to be pushing 34 to 36 wide and alottttt of mass , he is pushing 20 inches high. I hope he is around this weekend cuz I got something for that belongs to him.

You are a true sportsman, you had a number of bad happenings and stuck it out for the best. Sorry to hear about the young lady, but glad to hear your hunt was safe and successful. Congrats and good luck next year.

I would say use what you shoot best! I have taken two whitetails with my .22-250, and dropped both of them with one shot. One was taken at 206yrds, and the other at 283. If you know your weapon I would say that it is a judgement shot and not luck. There have been many people that shoot .30 calibers and bigger that lost their game to a bad shot. Know your weapon and enjoy your hunt!
