Is your trail camera set up in 37a or further south. I'm getting ready to set one up myself, just not exactly sure where yet. I have a few ideas but just need to do some more scouting for good trails.

I think they do! They make a big red spot when it makes contact.

Coming in from the frontage road off of I-10 on Park link drive. You can get to this spot if you know where to go. I usually come in a different way only because it saves me some miles and I water the game tanks in this area. The elk is true as life can be in the desert. I would not B.S. any of you about this elk. I have never seen any coues in this part of the unit but I would not say it won't ever happen either.

Az4life, the mnts are the Tortolitas, sorry to miss inform you. It is a bull elk I have take a few of them myself and know what a bull elk looks like, yes there is some big deer in the desert you just have to know where to go to see them. The pictures that az4life has posted show you the elk pretty well. The warden said the elk has not been seen for a while. He is not sure if he has moved on or is just hiding out some where. I'll be out there on saturday hauling water to one of the tanks, so if any of you are out there I'll be in a brown wrangler with a white trailer behind it.

Like what BUSH said, " I HAVE TWO WORDS FOR YOU, AIR ASSUALT" . That would bring a new meaning to" the Alamo " . Hate to see it but don't kick a sleeping dog. What does mexico's air force consist of a cessna, maybe a cherokee piper. I know crop dusters.

Yea, the game warden just sent me one . I don't know who he got his from or how many he has. I'd like to see the ones you have, are they all at the same place in the corrals. I saw his tracks about 2 1/2 miles from the corrals.

Private land owner closes Arivipa Canyon

There is alot of political red tape when it comes to cutting a new road. Game and fish has a guy that is titled Land access coordinator or something to that affect, he is the one to talk to about this his name is Matt Walton, he is out of the Tucson office.I have been working with him on some of the same issues around my area. He has a big stack of these issues on his desk so it might take a while to get something done.

I found my e-mail from G&F and sent the picture to Amanda. The picture is real I have been to those corrals and the mountains in the back ground are the Tortilltas just north of Tucson. He is still very much alive and travelling in about a 5 mile area. We haven't been able to spend a bunch of time out there looking for him because of work, but get out for a day every couple of weeks. Hopefully we can find him before it is to hot.

I have not seen the elk but have seen his tracks and scat in a number of places. I haul water to some of the game tanks around that area and have been working with the game warden (Bob Lemons) on tring to locate the elk and to see if he has any cows with him so they can figure out how much work it will take to get them or him captured and hauled up to the mountains before summer hits if you could e-mail me the coordinances of the elk it would be kept between us and g&f . I will let you know what goes on and when if you want. I followed his tracks in the frost in January when I was deer hunting, gave up when I got into some deer. No one believed me until I showed them the photos. I will see if I can find them and post them for everyone. Thanks Chris

That would surely thin the preist in the Catholic churches. They get a slap on the hand and maybe jail. Thats not right!

    Teaching to shoot

My son had the same problem. Buy a pair of youth shooting glasses and tape up one of the lenses so it is more natural to close the eye that is blocked. It worked for us. Good luck! Isn't it fun to grow with the kids?

    Rattlers

The new snake hatch won't be until the and of summer and into september. They should be bigger this year for sure. I don't have a problem with snakes as long as I see them first. Funny how fast you can move when one stratles you.

    STOLEN TRUCK

You kick butt, I'm glad to see they got caught hopefully they aren't minors. Good to see trash getting picked up off the street. I bet emotions were running high at the time. Well at least the insurance company did you right and you came out with some extra money, just to bad you couldn't get everything back.
